2 weeks ago my husband of 48 years died suddenly from a massive heart attack here at home. My husband, who did not like reading subtitles, learned about Xiao Zhan as he patiently watched dramas with me, and became a fan. He purchased various streaming apps so we could watch Xiao Zhan as new dramas and movies were released. He helped me garden and listened to Xiao Zhan sing from his X-nine days to the present; as I always played his music while gardening. Xiao Zhan’s music and dramas bring me peace as I struggle through each day. I played “Made to Love,” for my husbands family and they all agreed that it should be played at his memorial service. None of them listen to foreign music or watch foreign films, yet knew that we did and loved the song. A man from a country on the other side of the world touched the hearts of this family in Texas.
