  • To see the full carbon fibre bathroom range by SplinterWorks - www.splinterworks.co.uk/baths-...
    The flagship of the Carbon Fibre product range, our hammock bath, takes stylish relaxation to a new level.
    Struck by the synergy between the shapes of two compelling symbols of relaxation Splinter Works developed the ultimate vehicle for total escapism. This bath has literally elevated the immersive comfort of soaking in a hot bath by combining it with the peaceful experience of kicking-back in a hammock.
    Unlike most bath tubs, with flat bottoms and steep backs, the continuous curved surface offers an unprecedented level of comfort that encourages long luxurious bathing.
    The bath tub is made in England from carbon fibre, which is incredibly strong, and stays completely rigid even when fully loaded. Designed for use in a wet room, it is completely suspended from the walls and does not touch the floor. The bath is filled using a floor standing tap and the waste water released through the base and then completely discarded through a floor drain positioned directly beneath the tub.

    The shot of it draining is poorly thought out I literally cackled at the sight of it looking like she just booty blasted some bath water.

    What happens if the floor drain clogs? Does the tub simply drain completely onto the floor of the bathroom?

    • @joannaneedham2148
      @joannaneedham2148 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Hi Robert, thanks for your question. The set up for the Hammock Bath is exactly like a wet room, or shower room, with a large floor drain below. Yes, if the floor drain was completely clogged up, it would drain over the floor, however I think in this instance you would put the plug back in and sort out the drain! We do fit flow-restrictors on the tubs for people that want them, so the water comes out slower, depending on the capacity of the drain. I hope this answers your question. All the best, Joanna from Splinterworks

      While no one likes getting out of a nice bath, there is nothing tricky about the process of getting out of the Hamaca. We like to rethink about the products we use everyday, and think, why does it have to be this way? Many tubs have flat bases and steep sides, which is very uncomfortable on the spine. Our hammock bath has a lovely gentle curve which supports the back and makes for a supremely comfortable bathing experience. Getting out, just involves stepping out, hopefully with a nice warm towel nearby. All the best, SW

    You shouldn't drop your towel on the floor. Extremely dirty and you won't be able to put them on again later. Use a hook for hygienic purposes. Ewww, just saw you use your dirty towel - please never do that again

    Ну и нахрена ванне дорогущие и энергозатратные углеволокна?! Летать в ней не собираются, носить на себе ванну -- тоже не требуется!
    А вот что за связующее -- очень интересно. Если эпоксидка -- то это токсично и непригодно!
