Yes I can relate to this. Saying “I love you” is not a regular habit in Asian family culture. Asian parents often live in such a way where acts of service are the proof of their love. Cooking for us, providing for us, clothing us, doing everything they can to make sure we are better off than they were. Pushing us to study so we do well in school, so we get good jobs, so we don't have to starve, so we can be healthy, so have a roof over our head and a bed to sleep on. I know this because the question is always, "Have you eaten? Are you healthy? Are you getting enough sleep?" I am biased, but Asian parents are the embodiment of "actions speak louder than words."

When a daughter or a son cries, we don't wanna show it, even if we had bad day, situation. we don't wanna make our parents sad and crying too.. For if it does, we really think twice to say 'i love you'. Dikiranya mau ngapain kan amit2 :(

ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ I LITERALLY CRIED!!! THIS IS SO HEARTWARMING knowing that dita is pursuing her personal dream but her family are always there supporting aww they're so sweet!
I can't imagine being away from my family for so long, and it seems Dita has been holding back her feelings to break down in front of the camera. I can't even hold back my tears watching her, love and support from all of us, Ditaa ❤❤
It honestly must be so hard for her to leave her family at such a young age to do her dream. I understand why she is crying, sometimes it’s hard to be away from the people you love the most
I'm Indonesian, the words "I love you" and "I miss you" is always making me cry so I often avoid to say that directly 😂 Instead of that I express those words as "How are you?" "How do you do?" and things like that. If I really want to say I love you or I miss you, I write it in the letter. TO AVOID THE TEARS YES HAHA
in fact that i understood their conversation makes me cry more. cheer up sis! we all know you have been through hard time, but you are doing great! too great for 23 years old girls........ proud
I almost burst in tears too when she said 'Aku Sayang Mama' as Indonesian myself, we so rarely saying that to our parents, we say 'I miss you' more to replacing the words or just simple ask caring words like 'Are you eat yet?' or 'Don't wory too hard go rest. ' or just act it, like bring them food or cook their favorite, like Dita we might crying lots if we say that haha 😅
or we would just say 'i love you' but in english bcs its easier to say it. "aku sayang mama' hits different tho, even tho both words are meant the same
Yes exactly, when we’re saying to our indonesian parents i miss u, it means a lot like a lottt, it’s lit bit awkward to saying i love u, cuz we’re can’t describe how much our love to our parents🥰
My eyes already teary just to think about saying it. I wish I had the time to saying it before my mom passed away last year, got heart attack in her sleep, too sudden. Now I saying it in whisper, in her grave.

It has deep meaning for us and our culture.
We usually say "jaga diri baik-baik"(take care), to ends our facetime, call or short meeting.
When it comes to "i love you", trust me it'll come with tears along...
When a daughter or a son cries, we don't wanna show it, even if we had bad day, situation. we don't wanna make our parents sad and crying too..
For if it does, we really think twice to say 'i love you'.
Dikiranya mau ngapain kan amit2 :(
yesss bener bgt
Yups setuju..
Seolah2 ucapan tsb adalah kata2 terkahir kita buat orang tua..

Dita cried, I cried even louder... Be strong Dita Oenni...
I can feel that her mom was kinda worried when she could hear that Dita was crying. I now really miss my mom so bad. it is also hard for me to say I love you to my mom because it's kinda an embarrassing thing for me to say because I'm not used to saying it. And also I want to avoid crying when I say I love you to my family.

Itu sudah menjadi ciri khas orang Indonesia malu mengucapkan sayang ke ortu, tapi kasih sayangnya melebihi dari yg bisa di ucapkan.
Semangat buat mbak Dita,semoga sukses🤲
butuh sejuta keberanian dan 1 milyar ketegaran untuk mengatakan aku sayng ibu .. auto nangesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
I really appreciate Nadol's last statement. It is needed for people to know these facts. Stop throwing negativity and baseless hate, spread love.

Her mother called Dita's father as Aji. It proved that Dita really comes from a royal family in Bali.
Is she Bali - Javanese ?
@@billinglumbalumba nope. dita asli bali but, dita and her family live in yogyakarta
Apa cuma royal family yang boleh manggil father as aji?
Ajik lebih tepatnya kak hehe^^
Beatrix Mahani Angsar bukan boleh atau engganya si kak, tapi emng tradisi kaya gtu, kaya yg punya marga gtu^^
for Dita, Lea, Denise and other Secret Number members (Jinny, Soodam), we all know how hard your struggle to be an idol, and how hard it is to stay away from your family, keep fighting girls, never ever listen to those who are jealous of your success and those who will keep trying to bring you down, we know you are strong girls and will never give up, and we know you are capable, we all of your fans will continue to always try to support you with all our abilities, and we will continue to wait for your next comeback, really can't wait for you guys to become a big group someday later, Keep fighting.

So sad, i miss my family too. Dita Fighting
She literally is trying hard every day, in a land foreign to her in language, blood, culture and everything else in between.
Of course she'd miss home. This was a beautifully touching moment.
I love her so much, i hope i can see her grow in the kpop world :) she really is a gem. Love you Dita ❤️
no women no cry but no mom no cry. i hope mbak dita always strong.

Yup..it seems she has been holding back her feelings for too long.
Yes, me too
I can't imagine if I live aboard which means I have to live far far far away from my family
Recalling all the memories of togetherness
It honestly must be so hard for her to leave her family at such a young age to do her dream. I understand why she is crying, sometimes it’s hard to be away from the people you love the most
let's gather here who join in the cry to see Dita crying, like guys
I wanted to like your comment. But when you say "like guys" i started to thinking twice hahaha
Hahaha same with me! I think all Asians are like that 🤣 we just grow up without saying that words hahahaa
Iya kaya ga biasa aja gt XD blg i luv u
Let's Smile! RELATABLEE OMGGG
Sama..kek gk berani mau bilang i love you ke ortu karna ada rasa malu2 gtu😅

very touching, Dita also missed her parents. Hopefully she can meet her parents .. aamiin
"aku sayang mama' hits different tho, even tho both words are meant the same
Yea that's true 😢
Yes exactly, when we’re saying to our indonesian parents i miss u, it means a lot like a lottt, it’s lit bit awkward to saying i love u, cuz we’re can’t describe how much our love to our parents🥰
My eyes already teary just to think about saying it. I wish I had the time to saying it before my mom passed away last year, got heart attack in her sleep, too sudden. Now I saying it in whisper, in her grave.

Saying 'i love u' to other people is just easy, but its so hard when u say 'i love u' to ur family especially mom and dad.. I mean its easy to say it in another language like English, but its really really hard saying 'i love u' with ur own language to ur family..
That's true af :"(

It's like Asian trait who still live in Asia, hard to say it to your family especially your parents.

I also cried when Dita said "I sayang mama" because I'm also from Indonesia and somehow those words are very difficult to say
Rana Sabila jarang gasi, kita lebih sering ngomong “kangen” dibanding “sayang”
@@ariiqakbar2149 iya sih entah mengapa kek susah diomongin aja klo ngomong kata sayang
