Hey, I´m your opponent. I really liked your commentation and it was interesting to get to know your thoughts and calculation. I would have loved to analyze after we played, but you were gone all of a sudden. Anyway, very nice video and keep up the great work!
Hey Max, my apologies about that. I was frustrated from the game and when I looked around there were only two other boards in the room, which made me more frustrated (nothing personal to you haha). Something about being in the lasts boards and having lost make me frustrated. I also would have liked to analyze it after because it was a very interesting one. I saw you had a tough time in your last game despite an amazing opening, you have a great potential being so strong a young age. Keep going and never stop. P.S. if you still want to analyze the game, we can do so privately (or publicly) because I would to know your thoughts especially what you were thinking that made your time go to a minute at move ~25. Happy you reached out!
Don‘t worry! I know how frustrating it can be to lose a better or even a winning position. I probably wouldn‘t have wanted to analyze after that game if I was in your shoes. I would like to analyze our game and I don’t mind doing it publicly. We just have to find the right time to do so, because I’m pretty busy at the moment. Thank you for your nice words!

6:00 I would have taken with the bishop because I wouldn't want my bishop to be passive and at 8:54 I prefer the black pieces because they have more space + their pieces are well placed + they have a strong pawn center and if the central pawns ever advance forward your bishop will have a very strong diagonal.
This happen to all of us atleast once. After having a greater position against your opponent, due to time management for some reason when they play quickly our brains just becomes monkey and play fast and miss calculated stuff for example after Nxe4. I have personally experience this and it was quite heartbreaking, I was facing a 2200 rated player and I was winning due to his fast movement it made me want to play fast and miss calculated 1 line that doesn't work for me and they finds it. Anyway Good luck with the rest of your tournament! Much love ❤
Yeah, it happens. He still did amazing against a high rated player. He deserved to win and played alot better. This shows he has potential to become titled. I hope the rest of his tournament goes well.

I must say, EVERY single vienna player KNOWS that after the copycat variation you go qg4. it's the best move. D3 is an option but compared to qg4 it doesnt hold it's ground.
Love your creativity and the idea to quote german music to illustrate the game! (maybe make the quote a little bit longer if you use this idea again?) Good luck on the rest of the event!
d2 is best but I think any waiting move would be fine? Or is the threat of promotion to queen too fast for any other move to compare to its later advantage add??
Great game Zach your opponent got a little edge at the end but you fight well until the end.Better next time bro your opponent is just really accurate and got very good nerves.Good luck for the next games, stay strong!Think to your friend Witty Alien he got great power for the attack,it can inspire you but for sure sometime a good sacrifice well place can destabilize your opponent it just a question of psychological factor but i have a great confidence of your skill of chess and knowledge this is just a small suggestion,i know too in serious games you can't play with fire!!Follow your intuition with this! The threat is stronger than the execution!Old chess wisdom.
12:16 , but there is Nd6+ which is a royal fork , doesn't it look equal for white if Nd6+ (royal fork) was played !!!! Anyway great video , keep it up .
This is the problem with opening prep, i know my opponents prepare for me in otb chess so i always change a move order or something. Love that feeling with they shocked 😂 happens all the time. I know what they will prepare against me based on many of my games.
There are diffrent lines and the more advanced players know them traps and can just play he engiune move Kf8. This lines work until 2000 i think i got to 1800 blitz online in 1 year as a 13 years old. I strted playing the vienna at 800 and its really good.
@@Rap_Punchlines I mean I suppose but engine moves is actually extremely tricky like you have to be frame perfect its way too hard and they are bound to get collapsed

Good job on the time management, yet another interesting and informational game. Love the classical music!! Good luck next round.

The voice of Zach's commentary makes me feel so relaxed. I just love Zach's voice
You will win your next game gloriously, and the music could be Beethoven's "Ode to Joy".
Profilactic: adjective; "created by a professional in a dairy company"
I would have captured with the pawn as well because it’s vary active pointing at the king

I'd take with the bishop cuz my bishop is still eyeing that b2 pawn and it always has a chance to drop back to a7 if needed be.
Thanks for saying the eval really helped me visually the position black had.
wow what a coincidence, i´ve seen your opponent play multiple times irl in my life, haven´t played against him though

Good game, explanation, and music :)
Waiting for a German farmer to yell at you 🤣
6:00 I would capture with the pawn to have an imbalance

I think zac should buy more endgame books because i feel thats what he lacks at.
I would go Bishop.

If I'm not wrong in Vienna theory aren't u sopposed to play Qg4 after Bc5 as white??

@@Rap_Punchlinesbut the top engine move is Qg4

That is a reputable move, I often play it in bullet and even blitz, but if black knows what to do it can be tough to find any advantage.
@@dimitarzhekov9550 i know that but if black doesnt play qf6 kd5 qxf7 its equal and there are a lot of only moves in his lines
i have a question that why you sit in the field 😂
