He's been in the federation for 3 years and they never pushed him, his treatment is a shame as he is the first winner of an AEW match, he should be at dynamite every week or at least at Rampage and instead as soon as he doesn't face jobber he loses, this was his last chance and unfortunately he lost this time too I'm really disconsolate

@@JoesUncleBosey I get your point but the entire idea was to distance Cassidy from the comedy side of his act even further and I think it worked while still making me chuckle. For me as an individual fan that's good storytelling. And getting the refs over with the crowd is a lost art in wrestling. And for just a second that ref got some crowd traction. Good on aew for that. Just my thoughts as an individual fan

This was a great feud and a cool story. Kip getting inside OC’s head, OC uncharacteristically fired up in the match, and then over coming it. I wouldn’t mind to see it continue and see where they could take it.

I like how Kip seems to be the only wrestler who can see through Orange Cassidy's schtick.
Hopefully the All Atlantic title does big stuff in the future but glad to see it give titles to people like PAC and Orange Cassidy and have wrestlers like Kip Sabian compete for it who normally wouldn't be featured anymore

This was literally the first time I have rooted against Orange. It is so good to see Kip back after losing a year of momentum. His new character is being perfectly executed by a seriously underrated talent!

Normally when someone losses like Kip they get barely used and go to Dark for weeks. Then they may get a 6 man tag or something like that on Rampage in 5-6 weeks

Hope to see more of this feud. Kip brought out a whole new side of Cassidy's character. The match ended with OC shoving a ref, and the last shot of the episode is Kip laughing at OC, even though he just lost. Plus, after the match, OC walked away alone, again. OC won, but Kip drove him to the breaking point. Some excellent storytelling is going on here, and I'm hoping we will see more of this soon.
Anyone who says Orange or Kip aren't great at what they do needs to watch this match. Excellent showing by both, especially strong heel work from Kip. Loved it.

Kip Sabian is the only one to pull this intensity and fire out of Orange Cassidy. Not even Pac did that in their matches.
Kip took Cassidy to the limit and forced him into a level of seriousness I've never seen out of him.

I like when OC finally gets serious. His recent feuds with Sabian and PAC showed that when he is pushed to the limit, he can be a good babyface wrestler even without the comedy skits (of course they are a key component of his character and should stay, only be temporary dropped when things in the ring really matter).
I think having proper rivalries helps making the midcard belt relevant, though I also liked when PAC was defending it around the world in the indies.

I hope so too but his Booking is delusional, he only wins with jobber and loses as soon as there is a higher level opponent, it is clear that AEW does not believe in him, they do not want to push him and we will hardly see him in future receive television space.
