Dear Diary, today I had the honour of hosting brother Zuhaib and brother Adnan again. As we were all free, I thought it would be a good idea to view the house for sale nearby. Allhummabarik.
I think you should get in to property development. You have a lot of knowledge. Overseas Pakistanis are always interested in good quality properties in Pakistan.
You’d never stop the damp to that house, the render should have started 100mm from the base to stop it wicking, even with a DPC, which it might not have, it would be a full time job painting and re rendering it.
Your right, I looked into DPC after your comment and think that this should be something that is needed here. Also I think there are new bricks being used here that do not absorb moisture.
@@MyBritishPakistaniLife yep I think it would need a surveyor to look at it before considering buying, maybe why there’s so many unfinished/empty properties in development?
@Westlec the property market is down at the moment. Those who have invested in multiple projects can not sell, so they don't want to build on the land they bought. Also, Pakistan doesn't have surveyors to come out and check. You kind off have to wing it yourself.
Assalamu Alakuim Farhan Bhai! Hope you had a Zabardast Awesome Eid as well. As far as the guys filling the fuel or petrol at the pump those are the attendants in charge. Saying this based on living in New Jersey USA since they had the attendants in charge filling up the gasoline in your car. Only two US states had full service Gas stations when I was there few years back which was New Jersey and still is the only state as if now and it was Oregon. Since I was in New Jersey for a decade I was getting the training to come to Pakistan with diversity and of course a flare of Pakistani Subcontinent because most of the Gas stations in US were Self Service I'm not sure about UK or Europe maybe you could educate me on that or I will search it on my own time. Anyways did you read the comment on the previous vlog regarding a expat meeting up idea at Mani s Food Cart at I-8. What do you think of that Farhan Bhai?
Walaikumsalaam, yes in the UK it is self service. Are you an expat? Please email me, I'm trying to organise a meet up this Friday evening at F6 Markez.
I agree. Generally, paint can not stop damp from spreading. No membrane is used to prevent wager from seeping through. There is an easy fix. You can tile all walls with normal tiles or granite or marble. There is natural stone available here at an affordable rate. That can also be used to cover the walls. It will give it a really cool look. Alternatively, spend extra on paint and use the weather sheet paint, which can withstand extreme sun and rain.
Brother just a suggestion u want to sell it to pakistani people so the nest would be to talk in Urdu you ll get more views plus you ll get sales aswel Insha Allah
@MyBritishPakistaniLife why u filtering out local market. Overseas Pakistanis do understand urdu plus most of the desi pakistanis would be interested in buying property and land in pakistan.Brit pakistanis aren't very interested in investing in pak.it was just a suggestion upto you sir
Great question. Full house should bring you £130 per month. If you decide to keep the upper portion for yourself and rent out the bottom floor, you can get £60-£65 per month for the bottom floor. Alternatively, renting out the upper portion instead will fetch you more. You can let that out for £70 per month as it has a higher value as compared to the bottom floor.
Why do Pakistani Oil Pumps Charge for Example 20 Litres of Petrol,....When they actually put in about 16 Litres. I Know this from personal experience,...Whenever I took my plastic 20 Litres Dubbi ( Can )for fill up for the Generator, and asked for 20 Litres, We could see that the 20 Litres Mark was well away from how much petrol was put in the can. Why doesn't the Government offices Regulate such open theft?
I can not believe you went all thr way to see the house and didn't even bother to show the rest of it - touch unusual, unless it was locked up etc. However that was not mentioned in the vid
I'm not a property agent, I just want to help others making their move to Pakistan. I had little to no help when I moved 15 months ago. I'm just glad to give my 50 pence worth of help
Just that land costs £8.6k, so the property can not be devalued that much. Even with the flaws, a local person can pay that asking price as they overlook all of the issues.
My dear friend it's very good you are boycotting coca-cola's shells very good for everything but what about McDonald's my dear friend in Pakistan and KFC nobody's boycotting them so please
Thanks for sharing, good to see your experience. I'm hoping to move one day from Uk too. Insha'Allah.
Taking my first steps into Pakistan this year, the UK has been good but after 25 years of working you must stop and relax insha'Allah
Loved that you are bocotting . Proud of you brother ❤❤❤❤❤
Great viy, loving the advice given. Thanks for taking the time out to make the video.👍🏽

Thank you for sharing such practical experiences. I'm looking to buy something surrounding capital.
Always looking forward to your vlogs! 😊

I do my little bit wherever I can. I renovated my dad's flat to UK standards, hence why I know some things

Are these houses freehold
Yes
For £25,000.
What kind of a Rent could that property achieve?
Great question.

@@MyBritishPakistaniLife £25K = £1,560 PA,
That about 6% Return on Investment.

Wow, I had no idea. Also, your not allowed to fill up cans or bottles anymore.
Which city are you in?
The house is located at Multi Residencia and Orchards
I can not believe you went all thr way to see the house and didn't even bother to show the rest of it - touch unusual, unless it was locked up etc. However that was not mentioned in the vid
The guard wasn't available to show us around, we thought he would be.
Akhi You're too honest to be a property agent. You'll never sell a house if you show us all the faults😂😅

Another scary video
No laws; no building inspection /regulations. Completed banana republic.
Best stay in Bradford
Have the builders not heard of DPC? What a waste of materials and labour
The builders will work on a daily rate. It's down to you as a. Individual building the house to provide whatever material you want them to use
Excellent good work although this property is very poor building works and quality of materials is bad so definitely not worth 25k more like 8k😊
It's a ready built house which will always hold a higher value than building it yourself.
Also take into consideration the land price
Also, you can buy the same size plot for £8.5k, in the same location. Then it's just down to you what materials you want to use.
Honestly max 15k
Just that land costs £8.6k, so the property can not be devalued that much. Even with the flaws, a local person can pay that asking price as they overlook all of the issues.
This is not cheap because metrail very cheap quality
It looks like an abandoned property area. 😮 not good. Very depressing.
I agree, all new housing schemes look like this in their early stages. Also I visited Bahria Town Phase 8, parts of it look just like this.
@@MyBritishPakistaniLife brother you can’t compare bahria town phase 8 to this offbrand bahria wannabes 😂
@itzsnake4761 I agree, although you get my point, right?
My dear friend it's very good you are boycotting coca-cola's shells very good for everything but what about McDonald's my dear friend in Pakistan and KFC nobody's boycotting them so please
A lot of people are boycotting here.
£15000
This is cheapest house i seen in Pakistan even plot of land in my village is double the price, no road no swage there
