Thank you writer-nim & director for coming out with a new fresh story and plot. This drama is different. The leads also were exceptional. I love the FL. She’s has this cold beauty. The chemistry is sizzling. Actings on point. ML-FL push pull interactions are both hot and infuriating at the same time. Anyway, if you have watched hundreds of short c-drama like me; you know how repetitive the plot is where same storyline is overused already. This drama is definitely a breathe of fresh air. SPOILER AHEAD: I don’t like the idea of revenging cheating partners with cheating. It doesn’t make it right even though you’re the victim. Then, you are no different than the cheater. And I don’t like how the ML took advantage of the FL vulnerability when she found out her fiancé was cheating. I know the ML has loved her for a long time but that is still morally wrong. Overall, writer did well with the story. It has emotional rollercoaster that made viewers questions your own stands of right and wrong in relationships 👏👏👏.
I agree with you, when you find out your partner is cheating, you should cut off the relationship I'm a person who doesn't like to be in a messy situation and it's wrong not only to the future partners but also to myself by putting myself low to make others suffer

This ML got me blushing every time he looks up 😊 most will say he's controlling but sorry because I love those type of ML characters, like yes papi 😅 great drama and loved the cp chemistry. Out of all drama that shu tong did, this one is the most interesting. First watched the FL with yulong but she has a lot of chemistry with shutong. The story really suits them well. I love them both. More drama of them together please.

Not a bad story. ML stood up for FL when others attacked her. I like that when his ex came back he was clear with her in saying he was not interested. The 2 leads also had good chemistry.

It's nice to see a slightly different story... It's a little bit of everything... Negativity, toxicity, loyalty, unclear feelings, love, likeness... Like a perfect combo of spices to make a dish taste perfect. ML, FL and so called FL's brother all are fabulous actors as I have seen in a couple of their works. Although there was trouble with the subtitles and i had to use google lens so many times to translate the chinese text, I really enjoyed this drama.❤
The subtitles were a little hard to follow, BUT I loved it❤ Short synopsis: ML and FL are childhood sweethearts. At the beginning of the drama, the ML is married (just on paper, its a contract marriage), whilst the FL is engaged to one of ML's employees. To make it more messy, their significant others are having an affair, and ML hires FL as his divorce attorney. She advices him to have proof of infidelity and he just proposes they go catch his wife in the acting while knowing what the truth😂. That's what i'm very pissed at him for too! Especially when he said that he's done everything a boyfriend should do. Like, it's more of manipulation so she'll be indebted to you more & more. You're not in relationship with her & you can't even tell her you love her! I refuse to believe that he really loves her. He just likes the chase coz he knows that FL is into him. I prefer this kind of roles for him coz i'm sick & tired of him being a toxic & abusive ML that deserves to die. This role might not be toxic & abusive but he's definitely stupid, manipulative, & selfish. FL is no better too. Its a rare occasion for veteran cruel CEO - Shu Tong, plays a nice guy but when he does you know why he's a great actor.

同意。这剧有三个版本开头，后面还是一样。搞得逻辑有些混乱。交代男主性格特征没有很细节，搞得摸不着头脑他为什么那样别扭。但他跟女主对手戏是互相接住了。他的表情很有层次很细腻。就是女主妆造有点不贴干练人设。生病睡觉都是全妆😅总的来说是很不错的剧。

That's what i'm very pissed at him for too! Especially when he said that he's done everything a boyfriend should do. Like, it's more of manipulation so she'll be indebted to you more & more. You're not in relationship with her & you can't even tell her you love her! I refuse to believe that he really loves her. He just likes the chase coz he knows that FL is into him. I prefer this kind of roles for him coz i'm sick & tired of him being a toxic & abusive ML that deserves to die. This role might not be toxic & abusive but he's definitely stupid, manipulative, & selfish. FL is no better too. She just kept letting herself fall into his traps but then complain when he doesn't confirm their relationship. I'd rather not have them end up together unless ML finally sorts his feelings & trauma out & FL actually standing her ground & finally get some pride & dignity in her body.
No regard for her feelings and thoughts.
His “Love” is one sided, she’s an object to conquer.
