I feel your pain Steve!! I got the same shoulder injury from a seatbelt on my left shoulder 23 years ago. I haven’t been on motorcycle summer tour since May of 22. I envy you and your pals and really enjoy your videos. Thanks again!
Gutted for you Steve! These things happen! Will def miss your Scotland tour vids! Hope your trip works out in September, I would join you but we're away on hols that month. Hope it all heals very soon! 👍
Hope your shoulder gets better soon Steve. I know how you feel. 8 weeks ago I pulled into a petrol station prior to doing a days rideout, came to a stop and as I was taking my right foot off the brake pedal, for whatever reason, my bike tipped over onto the right side. I was pinned to the ground and somehow my left leg got stuck between the gearchange and foot peg. It was only a few seconds before a couple of people came to my aid, luckily, as I couldn't lift my 215 kilo bike off my right leg. When I was able to stand up, I knew I had either tendon or muscle damage to my right thigh. I did manage to ride my bike home but, it took 6 weeks for the pain and bruising to subside. As a 70 year old, I am a bit apprehensive about getting out on my bike again after I finish repairing the slight cosmetic damage that was sustained in the zero mph drop. I think the sooner I get back on the bike the better. Take care of your shoulder Steve and I look forward to seeing many more videos from you.
Sorry to hear about your drop my friend but these things happen unfortunately. Hope you do get up and about on the bike again soon and in your 70's fair play to you. Ride safe
Normally a heavy bike will tip over if your front wheel is turned when or after stopping. It didn’t just happen 😊, I did this twice as a returning rider on a 218kg Versys 650 fumbling for my fob key outside a gate , until I realised the front wheel was turned slightly inwards and I had took both hands of handlebars . It can happen quickly and easily , keep wheel dead straight , until sidestand is engaged .
Hey Steve, I've missed your tours and biking banter this year, sorry to hear about your injury, tough as hell them dandelions, spray them with some Roundup or SBK, that'll kill the buggers! I hope you make a speedy recovery and we see you back on TH-cam soon! 🤞
Good to hear you are on the mend at least you can get some fishing in 😊 I have been suffering from shingles on the left side of my face for the last 7 weeks and couldn't bear the slightest touch so unable to wear my crash helmet hopefully should be back on the bike this week, take it easy mate.
Hi Steve. Sorry to hear about your troubles but your priorities are right. Only your health and your safety are the important things in life. Scotland will be in the same place next year and it maybe better weather then. The forecasts for the last week up there have been awful. Me and the lads did 4 nights in Buxton in May and 3 nights in Brecon in July, The weather was at best not very good and we have had to cancel our September 4 night so I hope the weather will be good for you if you go. Hope the shoulder mends soon. Mike.
Sorry to hear that Steve, I've really missed your videos. I hope this year starts to improve for you & you manage to get some miles under your belt. I've done Scotland earlier this year with 8 of us & 2 of us off to Norfolk/Suffolk in September (I prefer smaller groups). I'm also planning a solo tour to Belgium next year.
All the best Steve, you will soon be back in your stride again, you make some cracking videos, and I always look forward to them. Happy Days & Ride Safe.
Great to hear you are on the road to recovery. Talking of caravans a good friend of ours stays on the Haven site at Mablethorpe and only pays £50 for Monday to Friday during September for an 8 berth, so that may be worth looking into for you
Sorry to hear this, Steve. Give it time to heal up properly, and you'll be back touring as soon as possible! I hope you're able to enjoy a smaller tour next month!
You're not alone missing out on a tour this year Steve,it's a blow but worse things happen to people... I should have been going on a big tour to southern France, down the Route Napoleon, back up the Route de Grande Alpes, meeting my mates for a week in Belgium & then going to Spa Francorchamps for the Endurance race.I got Covid the day I should have got the ferry.Watched the race from Spa flat out on the sofa. The bike never moved for a month.. Let's hope we get a good Autumn👍
Hi Steve sorry to hear that you have injured your shoulder, but nice to see you out on the bike. I have only just gone out on my bike first time in four months. I loved it.
Unlucky Steve. Hope you're back to your best soon. I followed your NC of Scotland tour with a couple of pals. Superb. Look forward to seeing you back in the saddle for the next one. Safe travels. 🍻
Get well soon Steve. You definitely made the right call not to overdo the riding just yet. You really wouldn't have enjoyed it like you should. Glad to see you out on a recovery ride. Take care out there.
Sorry to hear about your shoulder Steve, hope it heals soon 🙏 Gutted that you've not been able to tour, always enjoy your annual adventure but health comes first. Take care 👍
Hi Steve, I think your doing the right thing ,as disappointing as it is ,hopefully you will get some enjoyable riding in later in year .look forward to another tour from your channel. Hopefully less rain than 1st half of year good luck
Morning Steve. Pleasure to see you out mate .we can wait for the trips mate health comes first .Just build up with small journeys. We like those too..bike looks great .ride safe. Old dave
Oh dear, welcome to the buggered shoulder club. I've not ridden the bike for the last 3 weeks, and that's AFTER the operation to fix it. Sorry to hear ya woes Steve, nothing worse than missing the biking holidays. It's ok doing a 70-100 mile ride, doing it every day for a week or so is totally different. It would only mess up the recovery anyway. I've not had a proper bike tour for the last 3 years😭😭 Gutted for ya mate
Totally agree Steve you head and body have to be right if you going far on a bike buddy. I got T-Boned I Tesco’s car park 25 months age, young lad in a car hit me at about 60 mph (Ouch) and I’ve not been right since. Could not sleep in bed because of the pain (19 months sleeping in a Recliner) had 3 lots of injection in my shoulders now. And I’ve still got torn ligaments in my left shoulder. Not been on a Bike since June 22 hopefully I’m going to try next week and see how I get on. Good luck with your shoulder Steve hope it mends okay buddy. Keep trying to get out on the bike when you can, take care and all the best 👍🏍️
Get well soon Steve - The weather has been crap around Lincolnshire, let alone the chipping on most of the roads. I am between bikes as I sold my S1000RR and I'm getting to old for that type of bike. I cannot decide what to get and the weather makes me keep thinking I'll get one later. So I'm itching to get back on two wheels. Wouldn't spend 44k on a bike. The Goole TT was ruined buy the 50mph limit (wink wink) Ride safe Steve and thanks for the video.
Sorry to hear about yer gardening mishap Steve, you certainly ain't had any luck have ya mate. Look after that shoulder and have a great break in September! Me and the DABs (Dads Army Bikers) are in Scotland for a few days in September, we'll be based in the Nith Hotel just outside Dumfries. Happy riding Steve and keep up the great content on YT 😁👍
Sorry to hear about your shoulder Steve. We seem to injure easier and heal slower as the years go on. As you say, a terrible touring year so far. I had a seven day tour planned for Scotland for early June. The weather at that time of year is normally amazing.... not this year. I postponed that tour and went to North Wales for a week. I did have one wet day but the rest of the time it was dry... just cold. The riding was great though, so that mede up for having to wear winter kit in JUNE! Hopefully Scotland is on the cards for me in September, and you find a great weeks riding wherever you choose to go.
Sorry you've had a bad year Steve. Funny thing is our little crew split up this year as some of us wanted to do French WW1 sites and another couple wanted to ride to Spain. Unfortunately the two who wanted to do Spain one of them dropped his bike and broke his collar bone so they didn't get there. Gets worse and worth knowing his breakdown cover didn't cover him not being able to ride his bike so it cost him £500 to get his bike back home. Aged 73 I am like you I won't get on my bike unless I can be 100% focused on riding. £42k for a bike blimey ! some of my friends ride Harleys and we meet up at a dealership and many of their new bikes cost less than that. Enjoy the rest of this year and hopefully 2025 will be a better year. Dreaded the day when I have to give riding a motorbike up. You've got another new Sub. Steve.
@2wheelsrbest327 thank you for taking the time to comment my friend, I did a video about breakdown cover as I was caught out about what I was covered for. Fantastic that at your age you are still riding and sincerely hope I will be able to do so ( not far behind 62) hope your crew get back together and you have many more happy miles together ride safe fella 🏍👍
Brilliant, with you having a knackered shoulder I might be able to keep up with you and your gang. My riding buddy has started his own business, so I'm a lone wolf this year, I'm going to do a solo trip to Wales in September.
Hope things pick up and get back to normal soon mate. I’m travelling solo first week of October to Spean Bridge, via Carlisle and Pitlochry, then back down the North East side, I’ll keep you posted. Might need a bit of guidance 😉🍻
Have you thought about Northumberland? Great riding roads, quiet and not too far away. Haven Caravans at Berwick is a good base. One tip, go for a 2 bed caravan. Same size as 3 but bedroms are bigger.
Sorry to hear you have been out of action sounds like your injury is very similar to a rotator cuff injury, very painful and what made me retire earlier this year. Have missed your videos but as you say you must feel right before getting on the bike and riding. Speedy recovery and hope you’re able to look forward to, weather permitting a few trips out very soon, stay safe 👍
Hello Steve glad to see you out on the bike, nothing worse than an old injury cropping back up! Hope all goes well for your tour next year and if you ever want to go on tour to Scotland give me a shout, I go every year 👍
Great to hear your Lincolnshire twang again, Steve. I was wondering where you were. That’s a bugger having an injury that keeps you off the bike/tours. The quality of your videos has not deteriorated even if your general health has, 👍. Looking forward to September when hopefully you’ll be fully fit and making up for lost time. Wishing you a speedy recovery.👍👍👍
Good to see you back on the bike Steve. Myself and a mate had a 230 miles trip a few weeks ago from Scunthorpe. Breakfast at seaways cafe, then onto Molton, Helmsley, Stokesly TT route, Great Ayrton towards Whitby, turn off towards Rosedale Abby for coffee and cake, and then home via Humber bridge and home. If you’re up for a trip, out drop me a line. Stu Barnard👍
Cracking route that Stu Happy days. Will have to have s ride out sometime mate, Nick Dunn has a bike as well, we ought to have a school bike ride when we get chance 👍
Good luck Steve, get better soon, miss your vids, got rid of my RT1250 for a T120 because of the weight, I weigh 100kg and am a bit of a gym monkey but I wasstruggling with the weight of the RT, since then I've been thru France to Spain and back and up 5o the Lakes and Dales, love the T120
Thanks for that fella appreciate it but have had offers from so many people think it would be unfair to choose any individual but like like I say thank you so much, ride safe my friend.
These days I try not to 'tempt fate'. I've had a couple of days where I've got everything ready, everything charged up , got up to go and for various reasons just wasn't feeling it. I know chances are once I was out I'd 'probably' love it, but I don't risk it. If your head isn't in the game, may as well stay home, and if the body isn't up to it, I know full well I'll pay for it heavily the day after. I think it's a good idea what you're thinking in September. Find a suitable 'basecamp' and take shorter rides out for the day. Good luck with the recovery fella.
Sorry to hear that you had to miss Scotland tour but thats life Absolutely get something planned for September and keep us posted Hope the shoulder recovers soon Mate
Sorry to hear things haven't worked out for you Steve. It's how it goes sometimes. Hope the shoulder improves and you manage to get some decent riding in.
Hiya Steve I have been following your videos for a while & think they are great, I love your route planning and have nicked a few tips for myself lol you must be gutted about Scotland but sort your shoulder out mate for your next adventure, ride safe cheers Graham
Hiya Steve been watching your channel for awhile .... if you dont feel right dont ride thats the way to stay safe mate. Even on a super comfy RT if your in pain take it easy. Nothing wrong as you know the biking fraternity is getting older!!! etc etc go for a mini tour on your own if that suits . Sometimes a bit of solo riding is good for the soul. I know done a few by myself Isle of Man classic a couple of Lincolnshire camping trips a couple of "Cat an Fiddle" trips from London. Met a good friend in Derbyshire for a couple of days ride outs. To be honest they were some of the best trips Ive ever had!!!! Go when I like leave when I want stop when I like . Give it a go if no ones able to go. Keep up posting the vids thanks for putting in the effort to upload. Lets hope 2025 is a good year for us old gits!!!!
Exactly my friend and may be doing some of that solo riding in Sept, as you say you can do as you like when you like and take as much time as you want thanks. Ride safe fella
Another brilliant tour Steve thank you, great mix of ride footage, information and chat, would be really interested to see a how and what system you use to plan your routs. Cheers mate
G’day mate I know how you feel I’m 67 now and I remember thirty odd years ago a rheumatologist said to me, you wouldn’t be able to ride again and you can’t do this and so on, of course he was right. I have had two knee replacements two hip replacements, I have rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia and a lot of operations, Not being able to ride caused a lot of depression as I had ridden for years I’m alright now but I still love watching channels like yours and I still have an interest . You have got the right idea though, have your surgery and recuperate you made a wise decision about not going with the others which is knowing your body and how far you can not push it. Kind regards I have subscribed look after yourself John Tasmania Australia 🇦🇺
Try changing your diet, cut out carbs and sugars, eat a carnivore diet, it’s bloody amazing. I’m 61 I was a metabolic wreck I’m now feel like I’m 30 years younger. It works.
Did france early on and end of the Month i will be in Switzerland Interlaken £190 6 nights bungalow tent with full electrics gas cooker beds with matress. I'm gunna do that ride u did upto the Grill spot at Beatenburg, But i will have some burgers to cook lol Loved that Swiss tour you did It Inspired me back on the road, Cheers
I wondered where youd been Steve. Sorry to hear about your shoulder and having to miss your trip to Skye. Up until last year i was going to Skye up to 4 times a year then unfortunately the guy who owned the campsite died and the campsite closed, i couldnt bring myself to camp elsewhere so apart from one day trip in the car i havent been back for two years, i really miss the place even though its a 440 mile trip from Scunny. If you want company for your Yarmouth trip I'll tag along if you like, im sure the wife would like me out from under her feet!
@silversnugger shame about the owner of the campsite for skye trips fella, skye is simply stunning my friend. Thanks for the offer to Yarmouth but if I took everyone who offered to be a roomie I'd need to hire a few vans 😆 ride safe mate
Hi Steve, sorry it hasn't worked out for you this year mate. Just do what you can when you can. I had a bike accident just 5 years ago and had an operation and then physio for nearly 2 years and still not 100%. I just do as much as i feel comfortable doing. How's the fishing going? Good to see you back on the channel.
Thanks Craig your doing the right thing as I am just do what your limitations tell you. Fishing stopped as well at mo because of the shoulder and the massive heavy fish I catch lol 🤣
Hi Steve, sorry to hear about your tour cancellation....i feel for you....the wife and i love Scotland and we're going up the second week of September..2 bikes..can't wait...still,.. don't want to rub it in..you'll be chomping at the bit by then......anyway, here's a question for ya....i too use the Ghost xl pro and am quite happy with it, except for 1 thing..my playback footage appears like im doing about 30 mph less than i actually am.. making vids seem much less exciting...they say that it's the narrow field of view, 140°...but yours looks quicker than mine.. and before it's said..NO, i don't hang about.. 😂???...any ideas...thanks
Hi Steve in answer to your question it will be the FOV with the XL pro. I actually have a dinosaur Drift Ghost (1st edition) and it has a FOV of 160. Have a great tour my friend 👍
Hi I feel your pain Steve 2023 was like that or me so looking forward to this year 2024 and its been much the same. I have had some recent health problems but hoping to recover for end of September as about 10 of us are staying in cheap caravans near Yarmouth. My wife wants to stop riding so I have a 5 berth van to my self, as you mentioned got a Monday to Friday for £100, my mates who booked earlier paid £49.00, cant go wrong. So I have had little touring content to upload to my channel, so know the feeling.
I know how you feel, I’ve had my Enfield classic 350 a while and haven’t run it in yet . I had a message from my GP that I should have the shingles vaccine so I had it . The next day and for 3 weeks I’ve been ill and one night I was taken to hospital by ambulance as my heart had a funny turn , it’s now been 4 weeks and I’m starting to feel better but feel a nervous wreck to get back on the bike. So I hope your shoulder gets better soon is it horrible when things go wrong😊👍🏍️
Hi Donna sorry to hear about your ailments and really hope you get back to normal really soon and back on that bike of yours. I'm sure you'll not be as nervous about getting back on the Enfield when your fully fit again, but like myself no need to rush lady. Ride safe and thanks for watching
Feel your pain steve in September 2019 i broke my tib and fib tore my mcl in my left leg 3 weeks before I was due to go to the picos, with teapot1 I was still in hospital the day they left, like you I was gutted but could at least watch the trip on TH-cam , my legs still broken now and I'm due in theatre on Tuesday morning for operation 4 and hopefully the last one to finally fix it
Steve …Gutted for you Mate … I can see it in your face, how down you are 🤝🤝🤝 Parkdean Todber Valley is cheap with good access for Boland Forest ( Fantastic Riding) and Lakes Six of us went last October had a great week … Doing it again October (we’ve got room ?) Also, stayed at Creswell based on your recommendation 👍Fantastic Northumberland t & other …
wondered where you have been. That must have been hard to see them off. I'm looking at doing the Northumberland 250 in maybe September I'll be on my own your welcome to join me. I know you have done a lot of Northumberland, but hey ho
gutted steve.. But I did my A.C in 2012.. I used a doughnut made from a pair of tights as an exterior ligament.. Google it my friend. I was off work for two days. that was just the local trauma from the initial injury.. Your physio therapist will advise you on its placement .. Think of it as a plaster casdt for a ligament instead of a busted bone. Happy days my friend. Cus bein a Yorkshire bloke losing booking monies is bloody more painfull than the shoulder jip. :)))
Hey thanks for the tip will defo google it fella and as far as bookings go I did them cancellable and did leave it while 24 hrs before we were going to give it every chance to heal good enough but to no avail so at least got money back Yorkshire style 😂 hope you and your better half are all good my friend.
@@Steve-Clark i just recovered from an elbow operation Steve.. My Skye tour is p[postponed too. Managed a few days doin the west coast of the NC500. the midges loved me :)) . Paulina is at moms in Poland . bit of a family emergency. Glad you can put those monies to a parkdeen booking.. My Scottish cinema fix will not be the same without your annual.. Kinross Start of the Scotland 24 tour happy people. Keep safe my friend.. Karma must be keeping something special for you muzzy and Deck in 2025. 🤓🤓💯🎬📽me
Rotten luck Steve. It could have been worse. Had you actually made it to Scotland think of all those midge bites you would have got. Swarms of the beasties especially on the west coast and Sky in summer. I had to beat a retreat in 2014 after only one night. I got bitten like I had severe measles and in places I didn't even know I had. The bites took weeks to heal. Never again. Apparently it's only the female midge that does the biting. Yep, the female. Figure that one out. Anyway hope you manage to sort out some sort of tour before the summer is out. Good luck with your shoulder healing.
Did exactly the same think and tore my shoulder... could not raise or stretch my arm out.. painful.. takes a couple of months.. Just wait mate and let it heal.. catch the next tour. Just get fixed.
Hi my mum died while I was in Cornwall on holiday on motorbike . It was hell trying to get home on bike 350 miles felt like 10000. Next year will get better.
So so sorry for your loss Martin and I can understand how hard it must have felt wanting to get home as fast as you could and the miles seeming endless. Ride safe my friend and next year will be better
I've just bought a 1300 Pan having moved from an 1150 BMW, you have to respect the weight of the bike but I've not found it too bad so far, and the bike itself is worth the effort as it's a lovely bike to ride.
I loved my pan 1300 and had it for 12 yrs mate I would still have it apart from the fact I struggled to move it by hand. But they are one of the best machines going ENJOY !!!
I owned my ST1300 for nine years and loved it. About three years ago I traded it in for a 500X. That was a great move, I will never go back to a big heavy bike. I’m currently enjoying the roads in the southern Black Forest on the best touring bike I have ever owned.
I'm in the same boat as you,so I'm hiring a static van as well and a couple of B and Bs and doing my own thing, I can't rely on my so called biker pals
Sorry to hear about it Steve, best wishes for a quick recovery and for you to be back in the road soon. 👍👍
Thanks 👍 fella fingers crossed 🤞
I feel your pain Steve!! I got the same shoulder injury from a seatbelt on my left shoulder 23 years ago. I haven’t been on motorcycle summer tour since May of 22. I envy you and your pals and really enjoy your videos.
Thanks again!
Hope you get back on your bike at some point fella and start touring again
Gutted for you Steve! These things happen! Will def miss your Scotland tour vids! Hope your trip works out in September, I would join you but we're away on hols that month. Hope it all heals very soon! 👍
Thanks Don really appreciate it and fingers crossed 🤞
Steve I’m gutted for you! Scotland misses you and I hope you make it up here soon. All the very best to you pal.
Thanks Raymond appreciate that my friend
Sorry to hear of your troubles, Steve. I thought you'd been quiet recently. Hope it all gets better going forwards.
Thanks Ralph fingers crossed for the future fella

The NC500 is superb fella ENJOY !!!
Good to see you back Steve hope your luck changes soon and you get a tour in this year
Fingers crossed that I get somewhere this year my friend. 🤞

Thanks for that John defo worth thinking about fella
sorry to hear about your shoulder buddy. smashed mine in 4 places in 2011 and it's hell. Hope it's better soon.
Thanks Chris appreciate that 👍
Hi Steve. Hope that you get that trip sorted for this year. All this fishing malarkey has probably done the damage. 🎣🎣
😂 been fishing today for first time since damaging shoulder.
Hope you get better soon steve missed your vids this year
Thanks Jim
Sorry to hear this, Steve. Give it time to heal up properly, and you'll be back touring as soon as possible! I hope you're able to enjoy a smaller tour next month!
Thanks Mark fingers crossed my friend 🤞
You're not alone missing out on a tour this year Steve,it's a blow but worse things happen to people...
I should have been going on a big tour to southern France, down the Route Napoleon, back up the Route de Grande Alpes, meeting my mates for a week in Belgium & then going to Spa Francorchamps for the Endurance race.I got Covid the day I should have got the ferry.Watched the race from Spa flat out on the sofa. The bike never moved for a month..

Massive shame you missed that one my friend sounds spot on but there's always next year mate ride safe.
That road from Goole to Crowle on the right day is just fantastic.
Defo one of the best in Lincolnshire my friend.
Get well soon Clarkey ! You'll be back at it soon. 100% correct decision mate. 🤘
Thanks Matt appreciate that 👍
Hi Steve sorry to hear that you have injured your shoulder, but nice to see you out on the bike. I have only just gone out on my bike first time in four months. I loved it.
Yeah James bad weather has also contributed to bike being garaged a lot this year mate
Unlucky Steve. Hope you're back to your best soon. I followed your NC of Scotland tour with a couple of pals. Superb. Look forward to seeing you back in the saddle for the next one. Safe travels. 🍻
Cheers John and pleased you enjoyed the NC500 my friend.
wishing you a quick recovery Steve, i know that pain, had a similar injury last year :( Still looking forward to the future videos though (y)
Cheers Bazza fingers crossed 🤞 September trip
Get well soon Steve. You definitely made the right call not to overdo the riding just yet. You really wouldn't have enjoyed it like you should. Glad to see you out on a recovery ride. Take care out there.
Thanks fella fingers crossed I can still do something this year 👍
Sorry to hear about your shoulder Steve, hope it heals soon 🙏 Gutted that you've not been able to tour, always enjoy your annual adventure but health comes first. Take care 👍
Thanks fella appreciate that 👍
Hi Steve wishing you a quick recovery sounds a sore one
Steven

Morning Steve. Pleasure to see you out mate .we can wait for the trips mate health comes first .Just build up with small journeys. We like those too..bike looks great .ride safe. Old dave
Always good to hear from you Dave and yeah never rush an injury it can sometimes put you further back.
I've not had a proper bike tour for the last 3 years😭😭
Gutted for ya mate
Your so right only put back recovery if you try and rush it mate 👍
Bloody hell mate makes my injury miniscule in comparison, really hope you manage a ride out my friend.
take your time to fully heal Steve then go on several trips.........from Western Canada, look forward to next vids :), be well mate, happy days.
Thanks Malcolm your right you should never rush healing my friend.
Let me know what bike you end up getting fella and whatever it is ride safe mate
Sent message on Monday morning. That one is still floating around somewhere 😅
Sorry David sometimes I just don't get all messages mate
Sorry to hear about yer gardening mishap Steve, you certainly ain't had any luck have ya mate. Look after that shoulder and have a great break in September! Me and the DABs (Dads Army Bikers) are in Scotland for a few days in September, we'll be based in the Nith Hotel just outside Dumfries. Happy riding Steve and keep up the great content on YT 😁👍
Thanks Peter appreciate that and DABs made me laugh big-time 😂
Sorry to hear about your shoulder Steve.
Thanks Neil your right injure easy and takes forever to heal the older we get 👍
Wise decision Steve , as others have said take things easy and safely !
Thanks rushing back can put you back
Sorry you've had a bad year Steve.
Bloody unlucky mate, get yourself sorted, then back in the saddle 👍
Ride Safe Mr B 🤘
Cheers Baza 👍 still got fingers crossed 🤞 for this year we'll see
Rest up get well can't wait for the main event. Cheers man
Cheers Julian I'll be back 😂
Brilliant, with you having a knackered shoulder I might be able to keep up with you and your gang.
My riding buddy has started his own business, so I'm a lone wolf this year, I'm going to do a solo trip to Wales in September.
Wales has some amazing roads fella have a great time my friend.
Hope things pick up and get back to normal soon mate.
I’m travelling solo first week of October to Spean Bridge, via Carlisle and Pitlochry, then back down the North East side, I’ll keep you posted.
Might need a bit of guidance
😉🍻
Hey Adrian your in for a great trip my friend hope all goes great mate.
Happy days my friend for all the trips this year, enjoy yhe rest of the miles fella
I know how you feel, I was gutted when we had to cancel a tour round Devon and Cornwall. Still, keep your chin up and get well soon and ride safe.😃👍
Thanks Malcolm appreciate that and let's hope we are both back riding ( proper) soon , cheers my friend.
Oh Steve hope you get feel better soon and the shoulder heels well.
Thanks fella appreciate that 👍
Have you thought about Northumberland? Great riding roads, quiet and not too far away. Haven Caravans at Berwick is a good base. One tip, go for a 2 bed caravan. Same size as 3 but bedroms are bigger.
We did Northumberland last year fella and it was superb, but thanks for caravan tip
Sorry about your injury Steve, but really nice to see you back. ………
Thanks Karen appreciate the comment 👍
Sorry to hear you have been out of action sounds like your injury is very similar to a rotator cuff injury, very painful and what made me retire earlier this year. Have missed your videos but as you say you must feel right before getting on the bike and riding. Speedy recovery and hope you’re able to look forward to, weather permitting a few trips out very soon, stay safe 👍
@sandraphelan2004 Thank you Sandra I am still hoping to do something this year, we'll see how it goes.
Hi Steve hope your shoulder mends quickly and you get out on a trip have a good time mate
Cheers fella appreciate that my friend
Wishing you well soon. Take care of yourself. Cheers.
Thanks David appreciate that my friend.
Hello Steve glad to see you out on the bike, nothing worse than an old injury cropping back up! Hope all goes well for your tour next year and if you ever want to go on tour to Scotland give me a shout, I go every year 👍
Cheers for that fella, still not given up on this year 🤞 yet
@@Steve-Clark I hope you can get the others September for your trip 👍
@@baylatron Thanks
Great to hear your Lincolnshire twang again, Steve. I was wondering where you were. That’s a bugger having an injury that keeps you off the bike/tours. The quality of your videos has not deteriorated even if your general health has, 👍. Looking forward to September when hopefully you’ll be fully fit and making up for lost time. Wishing you a speedy recovery.👍👍👍
Cheers fella your health always comes first but yeah fingers crossed still not given up on this year yet 🤞
Sounds good to me. 👍
Happy days Wayne pleased your getting on with the T120 my friend
Hi Steve hope your shoulder doesn't take too long to recover I'm on my own this year so would be up for a trip I'm in Newcastle 👍
Thanks Paul appreciate that and you rightly have the same views as myself about not risking it when something isn't quite right, cheers mate
Sorry to hear that you had to miss Scotland tour but thats life Absolutely get something planned for September and keep us posted Hope the shoulder recovers soon Mate
Thanks Gordon am looking into something for September and fingers crossed 🤞 will have something
Glad your back mate sorry about your injury and no tour out this time get well soon and bring the videos on mate
Working on it Glyn thanks mate
Sorry to hear things haven't worked out for you Steve. It's how it goes sometimes. Hope the shoulder improves and you manage to get some decent riding in.
Cheers fella really appreciate that my friend 👍
Derbyshire is nice pal 😀and some great roads round there. Hope the shoulder heals soon buddy
Thanks Gaz 🤞I manage to get somewhere this year my friend
Hiya Steve I have been following your videos for a while & think they are great, I love your route planning and have nicked a few tips for myself lol you must be gutted about Scotland but sort your shoulder out mate for your next adventure, ride safe cheers Graham
Thanks Graham appreciate that and Scotland will still be there for another time mate, ride safe
Town centre one still been built, new showroom, so you were in the right place, I live in Thirsk
Thanks Paul we found that out as got told by staff 👍
Take care, we will be waiting for your return to the road.💪👍
Thanks 👍 John appreciate that my friend

OMG John and I'm moaning about a bad shoulder, feel for you mate and pleased the channel helps a little. Take care my friend.
Try changing your diet, cut out carbs and sugars, eat a carnivore diet, it’s bloody amazing. I’m 61 I was a metabolic wreck I’m now feel like I’m 30 years younger. It works.
What a great road at the end! Keep your chin up mate and great to see you again keep up the good work
@bigronvfr750 Thanks Big Ron appreciate that
Stay safe Steve, if you ain’t feeling right don’t ride big distances. 👍RSMF
Thanks Alex you know the game 👍🏍
Did france early on and end of the Month i will be in Switzerland Interlaken £190 6 nights bungalow tent with full electrics gas cooker beds with matress. I'm gunna do that ride u did upto the Grill spot at Beatenburg, But i will have some burgers to cook lol Loved that Swiss tour you did It Inspired me back on the road, Cheers
Happy days fella you are in for a right treat it's amazing in Switzerland ENJOY!!!
Make sure you do the Isenfluh tunnel, it traverses a 1,200-metre (0.75 mi) spiral tunnel
I seem to remember starting riding in April that’s 4 month gone already but as you said last week July was the start of the season
Weather been rubbish this year mate
Hi Steve great video as usual. I'm up for a tour in September I should of been doing snowdonia again but been let down. I'll tag along with you.
Cheers William will bear that in mind fella but the amount of people who say will tag along would prob need a 20 berth caravan 😂
No apologies necessary. We will still be here when you return. Just you stay positive and get back to riding fitness soon! Regards Big John
Cheers John appreciate that, your health always comes first my friend 👍
You look after yourself and we'll see you out there soon mate
Thanks Steve appreciate that mate

@@Steve-Clark cheers Steve, I'll see if I can find a 2nd hand one...👍
Hi I feel your pain Steve 2023 was like that or me so looking forward to this year 2024 and its been much the same. I have had some recent health problems but hoping to recover for end of September as about 10 of us are staying in cheap caravans near Yarmouth. My wife wants to stop riding so I have a 5 berth van to my self, as you mentioned got a Monday to Friday for £100, my mates who booked earlier paid £49.00, cant go wrong. So I have had little touring content to upload to my channel, so know the feeling.
Can't fault these cheap caravan prices fella can you am aiming to be good enough for September 👍
@@Steve-Clark I sure hope to be able to go, Had to cancel 3 breaks that had been booked and paid for. will do everything I can to go.

Nice Little cameo Vid, Better days ahead for sure Steve, Always up for a Caravan based mini tour , If you fancy a joint venture any time PM me.😊

Thanks for the offer Robert but have done a lot of Northumberland and your in for a treat my friend.
Fingers crossed for you

gutted steve..

Them midges eh Alex so tiny but boy how much pain can they inflict on you mate and didn't realise its just the females 😂 ride safe my friend

If you want to do The Lakes - stay somewhere top side of Dales - much cheaper and short journey to Lakes.
Great tip thanks Mike
Hi Steve sorry to hear you've had to cancel your trip. Chin up pal in a bit.
Thanks Keith appreciate that mate
