Plateup is if overcooked and cooking mama meshed together and made a roguelike, you create a restaurant as a group and have to survive to your 15th day. If a single customer is un happy, the whole restaurant closes down.

“No, this is not a clickbait, there is a Turkey in the game.” So all foods will get +3 +3? Goddamn, food summon builds will be so op.
Just want to say, the reason they are eating the Christmas crackers instead of just opening a gift if because they originally came with an Almond Bon Bon when they were very first introduced and sold. They eventually transitioned to a gift instead of a chocolaty treat, but I'm sure the developers just wanted to add a touch of historic tradition. The more you know.

To answer how microwaves work, it cooks anything, chips cook the same amount of time as a full thing of soup. It’s the first thing I recommend looking for if you take a soup or mashed potatoes or potato salad. It’s only minutely faster than an oven for stuff like a pizza or pie.
Even non-edible Christmas Crackers make a huge mess. All the waste ends on the floor.

I think if they add a lot of upgraded possibilities they should add another upgrade of the research desk that lets you change something inside that research level. So if you get a wrong hob you can try again.
Dumbwaiters are usable in singleplayer; when you open one side the other automatically closes. It's not enormously useful but its pretty good for large layouts. Just not usable for automation
If you close one side, does the other side open? That could be useful if your automation setup requires the end to be off to the corner and you could close your door to load something in from the other side using a portioner
@@theone-jn4zq unless its changed no, you can't, you can get both sides to close but you have to be at one to open it
@@butticorn ok, so you can remotely close, but not remotely open.
18:26 it doesn't continue to cook but it keeps its existing burn progress. I've left toast in an open oven just fine.
Picking it up deletes the burn process (like it does with any other progress, eg vegetable that are half chopped)

Christmas food is a good Easter egg.
The new definition of loser: someone who goes to a Christmas meal on their own, orders a cracker, pulls it with themselves then eats their paper hat.
They're not eating the hat. It's just a fun bonus item pre-meal.

I'm in MS, and We call them party poppers, and they have confetti and a paper crown. You can get them at party stores in some states.

5:36 As I started Playing Plateup demo I got turkey and the turkey on safety hob takes about 1minute

Can the portioner work off a grabber or does it need to be on a counter?
I think you have to have the turkey on a counter, the yellow arrows on the portioner towards the turkey, then grabber(doesn't need to be smart grabber) out from the portioner. But if it has to be from the counter, I doubt it and probably can come from a conveyor belt. However, there's a possibility that the thing that the portioner is pulling from has to be something that you can portion on.
You can portion off of any surface - counter, grabber, hob, freezer, coffee machine (I don't know why you would place a turkey on a coffee machine but you can), doesn't matter. As long as you can place it on it, you can portion off of it. Just make sure the arrows are pointing in the right direction.

The cracker thing makes sense, in England they will put them on the table before the meal along with the cutlery and you pop them before starting the meal, and they make a lot of mess, as they often have coulerfull stringy bits inside. think of them as big party poppers with "toys" inside, they ALWAYS have a paper hat and a Joke or trivia question, I have never seen one with any type of food inside. you cross your arms and one person pulls on each end all at the same time in a big circle totally cheesy vintage video!: th-cam.com/video/KgIs2Mwsd0o/w-d-xo.html
Absolutely. They do seem to create a mess out of proportion to their actual size. I used to work in a restaurant, and Christmas parties were always a nightmare because not only did you have to clear tables and keep things tidy as normal, but you had to deal with six inches of paper and crap all over the tables from the crackers.
