Hey Ftan- i grew up in the faith, listening to typical christian hymns and stuff. around college, I struggled with Porn addiction, and CHH (christian hip hop) helped put women back into a loved role in my life, not an idolized role. I still remember in 2011 listening to anger management by lecrae doing a hard run after a particularly tough day. my top tracks that put my mind in the right place were anger management (lecrae) (used for my hard runs/to get my frustrations out), and Andy Mineos Formerly Known album. the tracks that kept my mind straight during those tough years were Every Word, Pick it Up, and Fools gold. at this point I studied lyrics a lot. Listening to lyrics and understanding their true meaning took my rap collection from almost 10k songs across the spectrum, to almost exclusively CHH and song that dont really fall on the "satanic" side or had lewd messaging. I credit one of my schools security officers and these artists to making my life with Christ as fearless as it is now. Sure, i still go through temptation, and fall sometimes, but having the proper outlook on each event is a huge benefit to overall spiritual health. I have always struggled with consistent time reading the bible, but I love disecting lyrics and finding the scripture in them. Now, Bizzle had contributed to my outlook on mission, living for Christ, and staying focused on the end goal (life with Christ) rather than getting wrapped up in the turkey chase for possessions.

I literally was looking for some positive rap music that would catch the attention of my teenage boys who happens to love mainstream hip-hop and rap. We prayed we would find some artists that would both appeal to the hip-hop beats but still up to date with modern culture and aline with our Christian values. So glad I came across you guys.
Please pray for me and my children. I’m ready to give up. But my faith in Jesus won’t let me. Jesus rose from the dead, so I do believe in miracles. I lost my job as a social worker because I declined the vaccine. I declined due to my pre existing health condition (Lupus) and heart disease. I’m on a bunch of medications including blood thinners. I was denied my medical/religious exemption from Forsyth hospital. Since losing my job I’ve been struggling to make ends meet. My husband passed away three years ago. I’m a single mother with two young autistic children. We are facing eviction. We have nowhere to go. Struggling daily. I’m so ashamed and embarrassed over my situation. I am so overwhelmed, it’s so difficult on me. I am all alone no family nor friends to help me. I have been put down and mocked because of my circumstances. But I will continue to stand in my faith. Even though I’m struggling bad. I still have FAITH God will provide for me and my children abundantly. In Jesus name.
