I had fun growing up in Florida, and the rotary scene there is best in the states. I moved to Cali 8 years ago, never leaving here. The canyon roads here are unparalleled, Florida has nowhere good to drive. Every time I go back to Florida I realize I made the right move for me. If people like Florida, good for them, but after living there 13 years, it’s just not a good place to live anymore imho.
Several years ago, I read a book written by a guy who decided he needed a change. With nothing but a tube sock full of cash, he and one other guy jumped into a VW bus and set out across the country. The book was about their experiences on the road (much of which was fixing the bus every few hundred miles), and it ended up being published and selling really well. My main takeaway was how much balls it would take to do something like that...to give up the comfort and jump into the unknown. I know I wouldn't be able to do it. Godspeed Hert.

Cali is my place. Born and raised here. Yes it’s tough out here but this place is the best. Not infested with buildings after buildings. Different cultures everywhere. Great car enthusiast. Beaches, mountains, weather. Maybe I’m just being biased but every time I leave California for more than I week, I get home sick. I love the different foods around town. The only other place I enjoyed was Malawi - great food, people and while there enjoyed many nice people. But So Cal is my spot.

Hert I know how you feel. When I quit my Job and Opened my own Business I was Terrified. But I put my head down took the jump and worked hard to fulfill my dreams. There were bumps and hurdles along the way but I just stayed focussed.

This is going to be nuts💥 I went to GA state. Lived at the Village. Used to see the wild meets right there on North Ave across the freeway from my place. Sometimes spilling over to the Varsity from the BP. Hanging in Little 5 points. Jazz gigs in underground/hidden spots. Atlanta is a whole vibe🔥 Best of luck on your new venture 💯

I live 20 minutes away from the track in front of road atlanta. I was there for T Pains event. Oh and I also work where they build those car haulers.
