Bret made things look good in the ring, the only other I think was close to his technical skill was Hennig. I know they had 1 bad match, but SS was beautiful. Seeing a counter into a submission finisher that really has no means for a solid counter, was amazing. Bret always looked like he got his butt whipped, he made people look good in ring, even bad wrestlers.
Their 1993 king of the ring bout was great as well, I’m with you though, probably would take 1992 summer slam match over it because it was for the belt, Bret’s first singles.
I was shocked too when I saw Bret Hart being inducted into the Hall of Fame. I figured he'd pass away first before he'd have anything to do with WWE again.

And he went up against a wide variety of opponents. That title defense against the 123 Kid on RAW was one of my favorite RAW matches ever.
