Finally a Hallmark movie without a snotty leading lady who gets a nice guy. Instead it’s a sweet story about kind people who meet each other. Do more of these.

@@candi1904 It's too true that many of the movies now are about young women who act rude, which, hey, I understand they have it worse than young women ever had in putting up with BS from disrespectful young men, but it's not the answer to winning over a good guy.

I don't see her as snotty, just in my opinion, not a real good actress.

Great story line, but it lacked connection, emotion and had too many story plots left unfinished.

Great to see Robert Picardo as boss man Larry Fink. He is known as a sci-fi actor -- 1995-2001 Star Trek Voyager emergency medical bay holographic doctor.
One thing I hated was when they would say how beautiful every thing was and they didn't show it the rooms the lights on the roof but a really nice movie
It was a good movie, I enjoyed it. I did think it ended a little abruptly, should have been just a little more to the end.

I agree with some of the other reviewers. Okay movie but a little slow and cheaply done. Mary was supposed to be this great "Event Planner" but outside of a lot of poinsettias most of the other decorations were very cheap. I would have expected much better for what she was being paid - thick, plush greenery and wreaths, some beautiful ornaments, etc. They didn't even really show what she had done outside other than some strung lights. Very disappointing.
Correction- They where all Good.
Storyline starts out nicely, but the dialogue is unnaturally stilted and delivery halting - perhaps a reading or two would have worked out these issues first? Good luck for next time.
The dialogue and actors are not that bad, except for the leading actress. Now she's very stilted. Kind of robotic.

I think that the movie was very cheap but the people were natural and good acting.
This isn't a good teatching movie but actually quite dangerous when it comes to Mary and her obvious hypotermia nursing that should have had need hospital monitoring.
Actors do not look like mannequins and act like sickeningly robots like in another brand of movies. Good movie.
I don't know, when the actors talk it feels like robots talking. The dialogue it's very simple, no feelings, it's like reading an instruction manual, it feels artificial.

I love this movie. They were a little slow, but that was the normal personalty of the chracters. They were both kinda late bloomers, who thru an innocent job, found their true soul mate. Love it.
Ive watched this a few times, yes the cameras aren't that great, but it's charming, love the acting/actors and it has a more of real feel than most. A good feeling movie!

Too bad they didn't end this wonderful movie with a fast forward to the next Christmas with them married and having all the family and friends over and maybe Mary pregnant. And Mary's parents joining also.

guys they want to charge 1000.00 for putting in a lightbulb but think all women should want to do Everything for free for them, as long as it's cooking and cleaning ... and giving them time to go play.
They are out there. You just need to know where to look. And after all I been thru since birth.... I got the sweetest and most absolute thoughtful man in my life... the very first true love and boyfriend that I knew since I was born.

Why didn’t he call for emergency services when he saw she had fallen and was so cold - unconscious. Not a realistic plot line at all.
I have watched this film before and am actually amazed at the comments about the film. The acting leaves a little to be desired BUT the worst part is the setting is not what they say it is! It is meant to be somewhere not in the suburbs - and an old house. They talk about the rooms without showing them - makes no sense except for the fact that they actually haven't spent the money to find and rent a place of the size and history of the house in the actual story. I guess that is what film makers do who haven't got the money to make a film according to the story. I am not saying the story is bad at all.
I agree. I love a Hallmark movie, but the "Oh, I love her" came out of nowhere and where are the decorations that are suppposed to be so amazing? I am super sappy, but this one just didn't do it for me.

Oh, here's $12 000 to decorate and plan a Christmas dinnner for 10 adults and some kids... Oh, and definitely make the broccoli 🥦 it's such a delicacy...
Since this film's objective was to decorate the house inside-outside, then go all the way - make it worth it! Just to see how 'cheap' this production was, they decorated with a couple of dozen poinsettias, some ridiculous bows here and there, some twigs by the fireplace and tinsel which wasn't even symmetric, over the door!!! And when it was time for the 'big' surprise - to switch on the outdoor lights, there was a 'reflection' of blue lighting for a split second!!!! Seriously guys? What a cheap production!!! Then there was Mary who froze on the balcony and was revived like Sleeping Beauty... The screenplay writer could have put in some suspense - have Chris call in a doctor or rush her to the ER - something that would have got the viewers' hearts pumping!
The heart-warming concept of reuniting families and friends was the only positive thing in this film.
I thought i was the only person who notice it.. i have seen better movies..

I love Christmas movies but this one...don't waste your time. The main actors are very wooden. No chemistry at all. Had potential but slow moving.
The script had a lot of potential, delivery was awkward and stiff....obviously small budget...was that a high-school posing as an airport 😉

That was NOT a Hallmark movie! Even some of the actors were not very good.
Love this heart warming movie. So nice to see a movie without "the misunderstanding" and no drama of it.

As much as I enjoy these Christmas 🎄movies some of the stories are just boring and don't make any sense
There was so much awkwardness in this film. It was very slow moving, the energy seemed so low and robotic at times.

Good movie. It did take longer than I expected for them to warm up to each other. And it still felt like their chemistry needed something. but great movie.

I don't agree. Because there was wreally warm and festive atmosphere around the dinner table and after it, modest but full of feast. Waked me up that warm special feeling I had when I was child.
