I have experimented with the food processor before.It just didn't come out right?There were still seeds & it wasn't as smooth & drawry as your yam pounder Machine would execute the pounding job to perfection.Eat right yam pounder,was a God sent invention.I used to dread them days in Nigeria,when I'll be called upon by my Mum to pound the yam for the who family.What a tedious,painful,Sweaty,unhealthy,un-hygienic process of pounding yam?With my buckets of vitamin D/ Sweats,giving that pounded yam for the whole family of six that salty TASTE of a life time?Lord have Mercy!That's food Contamination my Friend.Not right at all in today's food hygiene & standards my friend.

The problem I have with it is the plastic inside the matching which might react to the food during heating... Any other things is excellent
