I like your style. I was a hair stylist, too. It's a creative career, so it's not surprising you are into art. Have fun and good luck with your channel.
So cool! Hairstylist are a super creative bunch that is for sure, we are cut from a different cloth. 😊 thank you for your kind words, I appreciate them! ❤️
@@KristaUrsulescu Re: I've never seen anyone put an oval in the circle for the flower before. When you do that again, would you talk about it a bit more? How do you know where to add the oval? Does it matter? I'm not sure I know what to do with it. I gathered that it might be to indicate where the middle of the flower would be, but what if the flowers are not round. I have a feeling that understanding that would help make my whimsical - doodle flowers a bit more realistic. I don't want to create realistic flowers, but elevating my doodles a bit would be great. You bring something unique to TH-cam - thanks.
Thank for reaching out, I’m glad you mentioned it because sometimes I can miss some important pieces of information. So I use the oval as my guide for the direction of the petals. So the lower line of the oval is where my down facing petals start from, in the middle of the oval is where the mid petals would go and then from the top line, the upper petals start from there and go up towards the top of the original circle. Bear in mind that it is just a rough guide and doesn’t need to be exact. It just helps to keep some structure to the flower so it looks dimensional rather than flat! 😊 let me know if you have anymore questions. I will definitely touch base on that in an upcoming video .
Thank you so much! I will definitely add that to the los too, thanks for your input, I’ve only done 1 hydrangea before a very long time ago so I’m up for the challenge!
When you blow the paint or when you add the splatters I always kind of panic that you did too much. But in the end it's never too much, it's just perfect!
lol, I almost feel like that too sometimes and you know, I have ruined many paintings by overdoing it before so I can appreciate the panic! Sometimes if there isn’t enough, it doesn’t give the vibe I’m trying to give but if there is too much it looks like a mess!
I really like this technique. I would love to see sunflowers, tulips, etc. I am terrible at florals
Lilies and irise, too, for me
Thank you so much and Great suggestions!! I will definitely add them all to the list!!
Awesome! I will add those too! Thanks for the suggestions 😊
