These recordings are from live Satsangs at Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi Centre in Melbourne, Australia.
Satsang is a Sanskrit term derived from two roots: sat meaning "true’"and sangha meaning community, company or association. It can be translated as "associating with good people" or simply "being in the company of truth," and refers to the act of gathering with Sattvic-minded, uplifting beings, especially spiritual seekers.
Satsang is different to any course or lecture because the energy field in it allows for clarity, stillness, and expanded awareness to be experienced by those who seek it.
Whenever something increases your awareness of the Truth, it opens your Heart and quiets your mind.
Satsang is one of the most effective means of transcending your mind and staying in egoless state which can be called enlightenment, liberation, freedom, moksha, nirvana or simply abiding in Self.
We call our satsang lovingly as Bhagavan Satsang as they are all due to his grace, Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi.
According to Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi Satsang means only Atma Sang(Association with Self). Those who are trying to be in Self can come in the company of realized beings/Sadhus/Saints/Sages and that is also Satsang. Those who come in the company of Jivanmuktas also become Jivanmuktas.
Bhagavan explained the importance of Satsang by quoting Tayumanuvar, Suta Samhita, and Kaivalya Navanitam.
Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi is widely thought of as one of the most outstanding Indian spiritual teachers of recent times. Having attained enlightenment at the age of 16, he was drawn to the holy mountain of Arunachala in southern India and remained there for the rest of his life. Arunachala mountain itself is considered to be self manifested Lingam, incarnation of Lord Shiva. Just by looking at it with reverence liberation will happen.
Attracted by his stillness, quietness, and teachings, thousands sought his guidance on issues ranging from the nature of God to daily life.
The philosophy of Advaita or Non-Duality has become, along with Buddhism, one of the most popular spiritual paths being pursued by those interested in enlightenment today. During the past three decades, Advaita has become more widely recognized in the West through the ever-growing popularity of Ramana Maharshi. His point of view has for its aim Self-realization. The central path taught in this philosophy is the inquiry into the nature of Self, the content of the notional 'I-thought'. Carl Jung wrote of Ramana: “Sri Ramana is a true son of the Indian earth. He is genuine and, in addition to that, something quite phenomenal. In India, he is the whitest spot in a white space. What we find in the life and teachings of Sri Ramana is the purest of India; with its breath of world-liberated and liberating humanity, it is a chant of millenniums.”
    Om Peace Peace Peace.

This is the heart of the matter: As long as you believe that only the outer world is real, you remain its slave. (424) Just understand that what you see is not what is. Appearances will dissolve on investigation, and the underlying reality will come to the surface. You need not burn the house to get out of it. You just walk out. It is only when you cannot come and go freely that the house becomes a jail. I move in and out of consciousness easily and naturally, and therefore to me the world is a home, not a prison. (479) -- Nisargadatta Maharaj, I Am That

Thank you so much again for this beautiful, fulfilling video! Brother Sanjay 🥰😇❤🙏👍this resonates so much with me, especially what you said at the beginning!! Very few people are interested in this, mostly in worldly matters and fulfilling the desires of mind & body! You feel alone on this path, cannot talk about this or even share beautiful videos like these! You feel so sad about not being able to do more to help people around you.....they would really think that you are lonely or depressed, strange & weird !! THIS really doesn't happen so easy, it comes with years of longing and yearning for Truth! For me, your videos are the end of my search and longing!! I thank you (That Self within) your words just flows...like when you are hungry and then get something to eat, you say ahhh, that hit the spot and feel so satisfied and content! My love, my pranams, my gratitude 🙏❤ to you Oh Self, thank you, love you , for filling my emptiness !!😇🥰🙏🙏🤗🙌🙌🙌

I enjoy these talks and how you go into explorations from an honest way of looking. Attaining the bliss of the Self is just one reson in itself that is enough reason to attain the Self. That bliss is not like the mind can imagine it. As far as reason goes to realise the Self ... I think you have to be unhappy living as the personal self ... you just know there is more ... a way to live without any suffering ... that urge must come i MUST realise the SELF! Then there can be one pointedness.

Well now, this body drank vast amounts of alcohol every day for 40 years which eventually turned into extreme suffering and despair. Over time the wealth was lost, the family was lost, everything was lost until one fine day everything was gained. Alcoholism is a blessing and is also a path. So Sanjay, you've finally encountered an enlightened soul that drank every day😂❤

I enjoyed this link and can relate to it. However, he makes a point of saying that he had a discussion with a lady who felt she had to go to church to worship God. The purpose of people attending a church service should be gathered in "ONE" with all those there and relate to each other in that Oneness...hence the saying of Jesus,
Wherever two or three are gathered in my name " CONSCIOUS AWARENESS" there am I in the midst!
