This appears to be the best revival version of this song by far. Closest to almost hearing the original version by The Ronettes in 1963. Bea Miller's voice sounded simply perfect for this kind of genre.

I have been watching this video over thirty times now. It's very rare occasion that I don't get bored after watching the same video more than 10 times. Instead every time I'm founding something interesting that I didn't notice before such as performers facial expression changes or the subtle hands and finger movements that make the whole performance even superb. I really want to watch this performance in 4K high quality video. The choreographer and the both performers have accomplished magnificent job. I had thought Tratree was a basketball player but he's not. Has the female performer Allie started studying at Harvard university? Anyways, congratulations the 30th anniversary of the Dirty Dancing!

everything glee_593 I've seen better actors who can dance in high school/college productions. if in fact what you said was true she should have at least excelled in one of those areas. her acting was nearly as bad as her dancing. her voice was completely monotone, and I've looked at kittens with more love in my eyes than she ever did with Johnny. I don't even really blame her, the casting director for the whole thing should be blacklisted

Oi vey, yet someone else bringing up Little Miss Sunshine. Lordy, she was what? 10? No one's saying she wasn't good in that. But that doesn't mean she's good in everything. This is a role that demands a dancer's stamina and discipline - Abigail Breslin looked pretty bored in every scene. Even good actors can be miscast. This is the prime example.
MissLizaMay I didn't know someone else brought up little miss sunshine I don't spend my days reading every single comment and I agree they should've casted a dancer for the role but Baby's character WAS NOT a dancer which is why she asked Johnny for lessons and abigail probably just isnt a naturally good dancer
