@@mikelavish likes on a comment doesn't mean followers or interactions on my own posts. I have plenty of comments that got many likes and nothing changed that's what I'm saying
@@mikelavish and why would I get posted on that page for leaving a comment? Plus publicity doesn't ensure that the audience it reaches would like the content enough to follow me
I'm currently making a short film, well making content from the short film making actually takes me more time than making the short film 😭 that's why I hate doing " content " things, I don't want to be an influencer or anything, I just want to post my art, but just not have only 3 views 💀
Man I feel you in this one. I find that with artistic pieces it a little harder to optimise for views. It really is about the brand and hype you build around it. Maybe I’m wrong but constant that gets more reach (with the exception of fails and random clips) are made with intention and aimed at a specific audience, providing value of some sort along the way. Can you relate?
thank you for another great video! super helpful.. Thoughts on the comment strategy: i personally NEVER read any comments from other people on IG (on other peoples posts). is there data that shows that there is more interaction with longer comments?
Oh, this is how I accidentally gained most of my followers. Mainly I treated other people's posts like Reddit threads and dropped controversial truth bombs that started good discussions
@@AndresArosemena @Tonemind Well the niche was in alternative health practices and esoteric education, basically. I find that many people are like snake oil salesmen in this realm so I like to call them out when they make harmful claims. But as I do this I address the other readers, not the poster per se... So I would clarify the content of the post i.e. "remember that there is also this other study/text that says.." or "from my own experience, this is not quite right, because..". Or other times I would express this contrarian view in a "compliment sandwich," for example, "Yes, xyz is good to remember, however, we also must consider abc .." Hope that helps. And some of these were very controversial things in the spiritual as well as science community, so that fact that I am a trained physicist and careful researcher added to my ability to express these things with poise & confidence, although I never resorted to stating these credentials outright.
Does following celebrities, brands and large influencers confuse the algorithm on who to show my content to? Should I only be following people in my niche and my target audience?
How would you suggest to do that if we are a cosmetic brand? Isnt it “weird” to comment on random accounts as a brand? 🤔 What do you think about it or recommend? Thank you 😊
Great video, very informative! What's the most unexpected or creative comment strategy you've discovered while using this method to boost your profile's reach and engagement?
1000% agree but what happens when said super fans come to your page and you have no content? The beginning of your video you said you can gain followers by NOT posting content - they go hand in hand no?
Guess you also don’t have time to create “good” content 😅 nowadays your tips and hacks are not really as constructive as it used to be. Just a feedback.

Yeah. Unfortunately nowadays in order to get reach on social media, you have to put a lot of effort into the strategy
Man I feel you in this one. I find that with artistic pieces it a little harder to optimise for views. It really is about the brand and hype you build around it.

Everyone gets 3 views in the starting
Post more general content first and when you do get +1k views then put out your short film content
When I comment on stuff, people just say "what are you doing here"?
thank you for another great video! super helpful..
Thoughts on the comment strategy: i personally NEVER read any comments from other people on IG (on other peoples posts). is there data that shows that there is more interaction with longer comments?
Some people really like reading and replying to comments(like me)
So yes good comments do get engagement
Oh, this is how I accidentally gained most of my followers. Mainly I treated other people's posts like Reddit threads and dropped controversial truth bombs that started good discussions
The poster never seemed to care much if I was disagreeing because it still started a convo on their post
Can you give a couple examples?

Don’t make me blush!!😂
Thanks Dom! Love your content!
Thanks for watching
Here in Brazil we call this strategy "Fishing in bucket" is very famous and was popularized by a guy named Icaro de Carvalho
Does following celebrities, brands and large influencers confuse the algorithm on who to show my content to? Should I only be following people in my niche and my target audience?
Ideally yes, if you have a theme page then follow people in your niche only
If you have a personal account then it doesn't matter
How would you suggest to do that if we are a cosmetic brand? Isnt it “weird” to comment on random accounts as a brand? 🤔 What do you think about it or recommend? Thank you 😊
It's actually the opposite
A cosmetic brand account giving their opinion has even more authority
Interesting video man! Thank you, love your contents 🚀
it could be: Right positioning through interactions with niche specific content OR Audience
such an awesome tip man! thank you so much
My pleasure 🤘
Thanks for such a great video, hair chest is out of control though!

As a connoisseur I would say that it actually, kind of works
I can do that thanks!
The video recommendation is not appearing.
It’s interesting because it somehow works on TH-cam as well.
Really knowledgeable video. Appreciate your effort.
I'm leaving complete sentences and now I'm getting no engagement at all smfh
What if you neigh, instead of honking?
Great ideas 💡
Am geting 28k account reach for my 15 day old account but has only 1.4k followers 😢
The 1.80 dollar strattegy?
Making a silly / obvious joke on a popular post is almost guaranteed to get you a couple hundred likes
This sounds a lot like what people are doing to grow on X
Honk if your fluent emoji

In other words the Instagram algorithm sucks...😐
Is this a worthy comment that you talked about?
