If you go down the hall to the left all the way, there is a Laudanum on the shelf, and when you pick it up, the monster comes around the corner at the other end of the hall and stares at you, leaving you crouched and crying in the corner, all while the music is terrifying.
Amnesia is such a classic. Probably one of my first horror games I ever played. I remember playing it back in 2013 and it scared me quite a bit. So it's really nice seeing you play Amnesia, and since it's your first time playing it's gonna be interesting to see if the game aged well or not after all these years.

So far you're doing good. Conserve your tinderboxes and oil. It's not always easy to find or readily available. Check everything. Drawers, desks, under mats, pianos, shelves, chests, etc... Items are hidden everywhere. Also, sometimes items are easier to see in the dark.

I watched the videos he had up of his playthrough, and OMG he was such a baby back then! As in, he seemed so young and was a lot quieter than his new "persona". I kinda appreciated that more.
EDIT: Nevermind, I see you already have played that - my bad, I'm still new to your channel... still though, do consider playing Penumbra: Black Plague, or any of the countless Custom Stories out there that people have made! Some of them are seriously pro-quality stuff. Since you played Amnesia, you should also consider Penumbra: Black Plague (there's 3 in the series, but Black Plague - the 2nd one - is imho the best one, since it has the best plot, scares, and streamlined control scheme), and SOMA - both of which are also made by Frictional Games. SOMA is my personal favorite of Frictional's games so far. It doesn't have the resource management aspect that Amnesia and the Penumbra games had, but what it more than makes up for that with is some of the BEST writing I've EVER seen in a videogame. It deals with some REALLY heady concepts of existential horror, and while there ARE some very good monsters in the game that are plenty scary to encounter, the real meat-and-potatoes of SOMA's horror is in contemplating the higher existential concepts revolving around things like sentience and what it means to be sentient. It's on the level of I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream kind of shit, too... it's the kind of game that'll keep you up wrestling with the ideas it puts out there. Really good stuff!
I was watching this on the side as I was writing, and I just heard "fortnite" and was very confused for a couple of seconds. Really glad you're sharing your first experience of Amnesia. Never played it myself but I used to watch my old favorite youtubers playing it. Very odd and nostalgic watching my new favorite to be playing it now!

When she didn't go into rooms when it's clear the the game blew open a door for a reason... It literally killed me lol I always get kinda sad when people rush and don't want to appreciate the entire game someone spent years and lots of cash too make.. She seems like she's rushing.. it's kinda sad.. but I'm only 7minutes in hopefully she doesn't do this through the whole game.. I would get AMNESIA if she did lol

Even from the very beginning I think professor herbert is mentioned and is the dead guy you find eventually in rebirth in the other dimension, lost and unable to find a rift without the watch right?

You should play the Penumbra series first. They were much better in many ways. The scripts were placed better and the game didn't foce you to "feel scared" through unnesesary visual effects. Amnesia couldn't hold up to it.
I don't understand why people stream this game instead of playing it traditionally alone through a Let's Play. Ruins the immersion for both player and viewer in my opinion.
