    honestly, as an Estonian, i just wanna thank you for making so many videos teaching people about my native country, because i havent seen anyone else do such deep dives on topics and care so much about letting people know abt us. most don't even know we exist. i hope everything goes well for you here, and may there be no drunk russians cussing you out for just living here ever again. :)

    Great video! As an Estonian who lived in England for 3 years and in between in Estonia and then in Sweden for 2 years, I would say that you have really found the most important points to follow at the beginning. now being back in Estonia for the second month, I would say that you also reminded me what I should follow when starting here again.

Where there is a will, there's a way (^_^)

      @@koppernanosit1707 and one more thing, not learning the local language happens in many other countries too. I know foreigners living in my country for over 10 years and they can barely string a coherent Spanish sentence while others became pretty much fluent in two years or less, so where there is a will, there's a way (^_^)

    Tallinn is the worst part of Estonia - and totally besides the point. It is boring regular small city like every other (save for awesome Old Town).
    Magic of Estonia is countryside, nature, its bogs, little lakes, forests and as you well put the small islands.
    For people who have to live in an urban environment Tartu is better than Tallinn for living in every metric but one. Opportunities for finding a good job.

    • @MananAnwar
      @MananAnwar  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Which cities (or areas) in Estonia do you think are really underrated?

    • @Ruudwardt
      @Ruudwardt 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The RMK camping roads are awesome and rarely mentioned. There is an extensive network. These go over the bogs the likes are only found in Baltics.
      There are real ancient forests in Estonia - a rare sight in developed countries.
      Not at all unique to Estonia - but we heave those old Castles everywhere.
      I am wrong person to answer about anything urban. To me it appears for that other EU countries have more to offer.

      Estonians, nor Finns aren't really urban people, globalization just coerced them into cities. Ideally they'd live silently in the forest and have saunas by the waterside.

      Sweden of course can offer you bigger income, but then its a question how much money is left after you pay bills or buy stuff. Climate is very similar. Landscape is different, Sweden has much more to offer. But I think Estonia will win in terms of security.

    If you do not have EU citizenship and lose your job, you may have only one month to find a new job on a temporary residency permit.
    In Lithuania, education is starting to become a business so it might be better to learn a trade in your home country. A local degree may not equal a job upon graduation.
    Major cities have proper civil services like medical care. Rural communities can be resource poor.
    Other than that, spot on.
