I would not recommend any jbl. I had a charge 3 and the one smaller than the flip and they both only lasted 18 months before they stopped working. They provide great sound quality but do not hold up.
Finally. Everyone reviews speakers but nobody mentioned HK Onyx Studio. For years now I had the HK Onyx 2. Every time people come over and I put music on they were shocked at the sound coming out of this thing. Not only is the bass is incredible but due to the shape pointing the speakers kind of outwards the sound is super clear and just flows into the room. I had lots of speakers and nothing has ever come close to Onyx. Nicely done.
I’m currently using the Nyne Boost, and I must say that it was given to me by my girlfriend as a gift and I didn’t like it at first. I ended up giving it back to my girlfriend. To my surprise, I kept hearing it everyday and over time we used it for all kinds of events and it has taken a hell of a beating but; it still looks great and the sound has grown up so much in me, that today; compare to others and I think it’s awesome. It came out I think about 5 or 6 years ago, and today; it’s still great for the price and the bass is awesome. It’s built really strong. Even today, you will love this Bluetooth speaker.
I use the jbl charge 3 and it is good. Sometimes (when outside) I feel like it just doesn't get loud enough, also at high volume it doesn't feel very bassy. It is really durable though, as I've dropped it multiple times and it has been in contact with water.
Yeah same with mine, but in the last year i had to change the membranes because the limiter isnt good at protecting them, both original membranes were unusable after 1.5 years…
Megaboom 3 is clear , durable and completely submersible. Owned for 3 years and have dropped off of my work truck many times..it sat in a wheelbarrow for 3 days full of water and sounds better than any bluetooth I've had the pleasure to hear and for just $200 it's unbeatable! Edit: sound quality is crisp at high volumes, still has extreme clarity of music with mix of voice. It can be paired with other megaboom speakers for the ultimate surround experience. The bass is amazing. I just lost it somewhere on a job so I'm looking to see if there's anything even remotely comparable with durability, sound quality, waterproof and for God sakes if it was equipped with GPS to keep track then I'd say "it's better than the rest" even if it cost $500
I bought a few Harmon kardon , aura 3,onyx 6 & the go-play. The Sony v-71 and other big Sony Bluetooth speakers blow the Harmon kardon speakers I mentioned away
What are your thoughts so far? DId you have the chance to compare it with fipl 5? I want to get a speaker for my car and the flip 5 is around 90 euros whereas the flip essential is 70 euros. Not sure if it's worth giving the extra 20 euros for flip5
i have been using the UE BOOM 2 constantly for the past three years, it was a excellent speaker, extremely satisfied. sadly the cones blew up completely now, understandably so since i was using the speaker every single day at high volume, but three years of lifespan seems alright for this kind of use
I am using two iHome IBT16 together in the shed year round (Canada) and they must last 20hrs before charging. Things are great for 50$ each. Good loud sound, rugged and insane battery life in the cold🤙 I just wish it was a stereo and more bass. 100% recommend
A Bluetooth speaker should be portable. A portable speaker should be able to be used anywhere outdoors. And that means it must be rechargeable. Marshall has failed to this end

Best portable speakers by far B&O Beolit 20. Everything else is how close does it get to B&O? How much cheaper is it or what features like portability does it have.
I have an Anker Soundcore Motion+. I don't have the sharpest ear, so a small amount of difference in sound quality won't do much for me. Plus when it's on sale and I can get it for $129AU instead of $179AU, I can't go wrong.
We have a Gen1 Bose Soundlink Mini and loved it. I say "loved" because after listening to it for several hours one day, I put it back on the charging dock. The next time I attempted to turn it on, it had the blinking red battery LED of death! After trying resets, checking charger output, etc., along with everything the internet and BOSE had to offer, it was decided that the battery was junk. Would not take a charge. I put a new battery in it and followed supplied directions. Now all of the LEDs come on, but nothing will play, nothing will link, etc., and if you try resetting, guess what? You get the red light of death again. After 2 years, this speaker is a paper weight. I could send it in for repair, but that would cost half of the original purchase price. Well played BOSE. I'm done with you!

I am using a JBL Partybox 310. I would definitely recommend it. This thing is a beast, and killed all the speakers in this video XD. But seriously it gets loud, has bass mode levels, an app to customize the lights, dj effects, strobes, carrying handle along with a set of wheels, it's water resistant and splashproof with an IPX4 rating, so yeah. Only downside is that it's expensive :/
None of these mention anything about "stereo" I use a Phillips SB365 and its 5 years old and still working. If you want stereo today for rock and jazz you may have to go for a high end stereo system.
@@samisellam6969 but the best one for the money is probably the charge 4 in my opinion. The charge 5 is out right now, so get that one instead of the 4. But if you want a much more affordable speaker that is still really great, go for the flip 5.
If I’m looking to connect my cell phone to a speaker in my living room would it be cheaper for me to get a tv soundbar unit instead of one of these? I don’t need the speaker to be portable
I have the Denon Envaya DSB 250BT, very good bass and volume for its size, equally as good inside and out and with the option to connect with a second Denon Envaya it become a great stereo set up.
I had a UE Megaboom 3 and then a JBL charge 4 and I was a bit disappointed when it came to maxing out volume as the JBL didn’t go as loud and it also couldn’t be turned on and off from an app which I really liked. Having said that though, the JBL actually had aux and a USB port to charge phone so UE’s really lacking.
Don't even think about putting JBL against the soundcore motion plus. JBL hasn't got a chance, And if dule connect two soundcores it will even beat at the Marshall and the Harman kardon by a lot. Trust me I have them all

Perhaps the never versions have remedied this but I got about a year and three months of relatively heavy usage then the battery capacity steadily sand rapidly faded away into nothing. Perhaps the newer versions have remedied this but that's what I found. The sound quality is phenomenally clear though.
I have the b&o A2. It was good for about 4 yrs but now in the past yr or so, it sometimes cracks/distorts at pretty low volume - so I turn it off again. Don’f know which speaker to get next - maybe the Marshall Kilburn
I have jbl charge3 and I don’t like it all. The bass pumped up insanely high. If you’re playing bassy track only thing you will hear would be the bass. Because of this characteristic it also makes very hard to watch movies with it, all voices just become to muddy and hard to understand.
I'm using an life jacket XL it's been pretty good the only thing that I have a gripe about is I've had it for about 2 years now and it's starting to pick up the speaker wine that's why I'm looking for a new one and also the battery life is garbage
I’m using a charge 3 but mine is a bit damaged I bought it out of country so I couldn’t get it repaired under warranty so I had to manually repair it. The original issue was fixed but there’s a distortion currently otherwise it’s a good speaker

I owned a Sony Srs xb 20 and to me it had a very nice bass and clarity for it's size but maybe you can find a similar quality for a lower price. I would buy it again if it would be stolen or broken but this options look nice too.
JbL new speekers are way overpriced. I believe you can get a better deal on any speeker with as good of sound if not better for the price. For example, Sonos move for $50.00 more. And has wifi and for much more options. Including Spotify and any radio station you want the sound of your voice.
I have the HK Nova, I fear for my life coz that cable that connects the left and right speakers is hard to find. The speakers are good, not so much bass but it sounds great.

Jbl boombox 2 absolute recommend
Thank you for providing useful video❤
Harman kardon Onyx studio 5 ❤❤
I owned a Sony Srs xb 20 and to me it had a very nice bass and clarity for it's size but maybe you can find a similar quality for a lower price. I would buy it again if it would be stolen or broken but this options look nice too.
Which one can replace my A1 beoplay?
JbL new speekers are way overpriced. I believe you can get a better deal on any speeker with as good of sound if not better for the price. For example, Sonos move for $50.00 more. And has wifi and for much more options. Including Spotify and any radio station you want the sound of your voice.
You should have tested the sound for each speaker!
This isnt a real review just a guy reading the descriptions on each product
I have the HK Nova, I fear for my life coz that cable that connects the left and right speakers is hard to find. The speakers are good, not so much bass but it sounds great.
Harman kardon onyx studio 3
Big sound and bass
Thanks for the great information.
w king D8 is awsome. best purchase I made last year.
I have the altek lansing h20 jacket for 30$ its a great bang for your buck but im looking for something crisp and clear
You should play their sounds instead of taking your word for it
