I don't think I'd want to eat standing in the parking lot, but I did sit on my cot, in my minivan, and eat. I have tinted windows in the back, but I could see perfectly outside and had the feeling everyone could see me. I went outside to look in, and discovered I had to put my face right up to the glass to see in. I actually had a lie down on the cot, but it was too hot with the front windows shut. Only the little wing windows at the very back open. My sliding door, opposite where I put the cot, would not open from the inside. I think, because I hadn't closed it properly. The bed side opened easily, but I didn't want to climb over and fall out. So I climbed into the driver's seat to get out. At least I could do that. I'm 72 with bad knees and hips, so it was a worry. I have been procrastinating for six years, collecting up a lot of camping gear that probably won't fit. And then there's my two 11 year old cats! I keep thinking I need an RV for them, especially when one sister decides to chase and fight the other. Maybe she's as bored as I am. But wildfire season will soon be upon us, so I want to be prepared to bug out. Thanks for the pep talk. Jon in rural BC, Canada
