  • In this video, you will practice Verb Tenses. The practice test includes all kinds of tenses (Present, Past & Future).
    Tenses are the most important part of the English Language. If you wish to write a correct sentence or wish to say anything to anyone, you need to express the idea in the right form of Tenses. A little knowledge or incorrect knowledge of the tenses can create big trouble in both English writing and speaking.
    The four main types of verb tenses and two forms can be used in a variety of combinations to create unique meanings. With so many options, it can be hard to determine what type of verb tense to use at the appropriate time. However, if you study and practice then you don’t really need to worry about it.
    Importance of English grammar:
    English grammar is one of the most important elements of your language study. Unfortunately, it can also be one of the most complex and difficult if you’re not familiar with the rules and don’t practice them.
    Grammar refers to the rules and regulations that govern spoken and written language. Grammar is the code that makes language work. It is through proper grammar that we are able to communicate in a clear manner that people can understand.
    Good grammar means writing or speaking in such a way that your choice of words is understandable and follows the basic rules of sentence construction, punctuation, and spelling. So learning English grammar is critically important before thinking of writing or speaking English.

    Thank u for your effort I really appreciate it. Concerning the 8th question the right answer is B not D cuz the verb « forget » is a stative verb so, the « ing » here is not allowed.

    • @channelforqualityeducation2195
      @channelforqualityeducation2195  ปีที่แล้ว

      I appreciate the question you have raised. Yes, the state or stative verbs are non continuous and we don't use them in Continuous Tenses. But some them are also "dynamic" like- think... What are you thinking about?
      There is a big debate when it comes to practical use. However, the option B is suitable because there is an adverb. Thanks for the correction.

      Hi Mr. Henrique. Hope you're doing good. I think you've watched the whole video and I appreciate the concern you are raising. Kindly point those sentences where you disagree with the answer. I'll try my best to make it clear. Thanks and regards.

      @@channelforqualityeducation2195 'Always' is an adverb of time that refers to the present; therefore, you have to use the present tense of the verb. Can you explain to me why the answer at no.8 is present continuous?

    • @channelforqualityeducation2195
      @channelforqualityeducation2195  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@markjoeymontealto7157 I guess, you mean, the correct sentence should be "You always forget to check patient's ID band (Present Indefinite Tense)". But I don't see any exception if I wrap the scenario in Present Continuous Tense where I want to emphasize the mistake is being made repeatedly over that specific period of observation. The mistake is not a routine but currently happening because of negligence.
      I'll give you an example, I've seen native speakers saying this sentence;
      You're always making this mistake.
      I do appreciate the productive conversation and the concern you've raised. However, I will still look for an exception of not using the adverb 'always' when saying a sentence in the continuous tense. I still used the present tense but showing continuous action.
      I agree with answer B (What you suggested), but I don't see any exception for not using continuous tense.

    The answer for number 16 is D , because at the moment is adverb of time for past tense while adverb of time for present continuous is at this moment 😬

    • @channelforqualityeducation2195
      @channelforqualityeducation2195  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! Hope you're doing good. English grammar is really complex a subject when it comes to its use in both written and spoken section. I guess the sentence is more accurate if we make in "Perfect Continuous Tense". The sentence doesn't mean that action is happening right now but it reflects the process of learning which the speaker is doing these days.
      I appreciate and welcome any explanation which can help us improve our knowledge. Thanks.
