So my girl relatives are kinda being jerks to me and my mum because since I play sports I HATE wearing pads they're hard to move and workout in, I started back in July and since my periods are irregular and such, I've had about 4 periods, and my last period was when I first wore a tampon for sports. So my grandma and aunt are like "she could get TSS, blah blah blah"

I wear pads to my soccer practice and games, they aren’t uncomfortable for me.
My mom thought that you put the plastic part in there to and so when I started watching you, you saved my life. And then when I got the hang of them I taught my mom.

Dude this is tmi but I hate taking tampons out so much. I have to pull really hard on the string and I always think that it is going to break. Then when it does come out, it feels WEIRDDDDD. And kind of hurts.
Criiiiinge. Got the same problem. I wish taking it out were more comfortable.
This happens to me when I wear a tampon that isn't the right size for me. The super plus and super tampons always hurt a little bit when I take them out but I found out its because they are meant for a heavier flow and if a tampon isn't saturated and is still "dry" or not really saturated it's going to hurt coming out because instead of sliding out it will "pull" on the walls of your snooter and resist coming out. TMI I'm aware but hopefully this helps! I started buying smaller tampons like the "regular" size and I stopped having this issue. Maybe try a size or two smaller than the size you've been using and see if this helps?

That used to happen to me & I just got a different brand that opened up a different way (when full). I recommend the U by Kotex click tampons.

When I only wear pads, I feel it when it 'flows' (tmi im Sorry), and when I wear tampons and I wear tampons I feel it too, maybe this helps 😉

My first tampon story: I was twelve. It’s was about six months after I got it. I was at my aunts house in Utah with my dad and my younger cousin, so I decided It would be awkward to tell them and sit by the pool the whole day. I always used to put in tampons and pull them out immediately because I wasn’t ready, which is totally fine. So I had a couple of tampons with me, so I decided to suck it up and I left it in for two hours. (It was a good start for me). It was the best scenario to convince me that tampons aren’t as scary as they seem.

I found out that I got an A on 3 tests we got back in school today, but I'm honestly more proud because today was the first day I was able to properly put in a tampon.

i watch your videos alot and they really help me bit especilly while im on my period. but they help me ask my mom for things or advice and help me know what to do if my period supries me at school and my mom when she had her period and she went into the pool he's stoped but she had to put one on right away even ifshe was only getting out for little while

For me I feel like pads are so much more complicated like it takes me 3 minutes to adjust it and get it to stick and making the wings fold over right and tampons are so much more straight forward like you just unwrap it stick it up and push and you're done
agreed! everytime i put a pad on and stand up, i need to go back and re-adjust the placement because it isnt right. Its like trial n error lmao. Tampons are simple. And cleaner too

tampons arent scary hun. you make it scary. i got it in my first try. it isnt scary. the reason why you might think its hard, is because you're nervous (for something not big in reality) and your muscles tense up to put it in. you just gotta stay calm and act normal. it should be normal putting it in. it aint scary

Mines very anti-climactic. I took one, didn’t stay in, did another, didn’t work, did another, couldn’t get the applicator out, fourth, finally got it in and it didn’t feel like anything
When I take a shower, my period always stops for my shower and it doesn't start again for like 20-30 minutes! I'm LUCKY

Lexi Mae It may be because you have the wrong size. The tampon should be fully saturated or else it pulls on the sides.
For me it hut to put in and hurt to take out I've done it once.

I swear whenever I go in the water like a swimming pool and I on my period the water/ chlorine maybe stops my period like literally once I'm out of the pool my period is over. But everyone says this is a myth. Is this true?
Also apparently blueberries make your period go faster I tried this and it didn't really do anything in the space of 5 days my normal length I ate 2 packets/boxes of blueberries and it didn't work😂

befor i got my period i learnt how to put a tampon in. this is my 2nd period (3rd day) & my mum has a hell load of tampons (mini, regular, super & super-plus) -w/ out applicators so we went out & i needed another ( i brought a spare w/ me but cause its heavy i needed yet another -which i didn't have) so we went to a shop & my mum went shopping & let me get pads & tampons i wanted so thats how i 1st used a tampon. 😂

I just kida knew what to do I got it right the 2nd (I tried on different days) time I tried and it felt comfortable every other time I put one in. Tampons are so much more comfortable to wear because you can't feel blood coming out every time you stand up and you forget you even have one in but obviously you remember to change it when you need to xx

Yeah i liked wearing pads to but i kept bleeding through them or it was falling down the pad and was getting on my pants so i need to wear tampons. My first time putting on a tampon was just recently and it was horrible!!!! I put it in and then I walked around for a little bit at home and then I wanted to take it out so I went in the bathroom to try to take it out. I couldn't take it out because it was still dry. I panicked and started to cry and my dad heard me so he came into the bathroom and held me because I got dizzy and blacked out for few seconds and puked a little. I also couldn't hear out of my ears. So that's the time I had a panic attack because I couldn't get my tampon out!
