Hey guys, I don´t think the upgrade from the 7 Pro/7TPro for the new 8/Pro is worth it. I don´t understand the 8 version, is almost a non-upgrade from the previous Pro, just a little brighter screen, slightly faster processador, comparable camera setups, and don´t even come with wireless charging. 700 euros is like middle upper class price tag with zero significant updates and the cutout in the screen is a turn-off for me. Whatever crap you read, any sort of cutout in the screen ruins the visual experience, that´s why the One Plus from last year is priceless and almost a perfect phone. I don´t understand why OnePlus sacrificed IP Ratings certificate for a cutout in the screen! Ok, it´s a moving part, the pop-up camera, but there aren´t any evidence that is not reliable or durable by any means. Even the OnePlus 8 Pro, starting in 900 euros is not such a big leap from the 7Pro/7TPro. Ok, you have a better screen, wich doubles the brightness, the cameras are not that special, and the small 5mp chromatic shooter is a total gimmick. Oneplus not even bother to talk about it in the presentation. What else, you have 5G, but it´s not a consolidated technology, at least here in Europe; Wireless Charging it´s not a deal breaker for me, and oficial IP Ratings don´t tell me nothing. I will not dive with my phone in the bath, or sea, or go to Dubai for a buggy ride in the sand... So, in the end, OnePlus new phones are fantastic pieces of tech, but offer basic stuff in 2020 for more money than last here. Unless they come up with some special T version later in the year, I will stick proudly with my OnePlus 7 Pro Nebula Blue.
I upgraded from a OnePlus 3, which was still working fantastically, to a OnePlus 7 Pro last year. This release hasn’t encouraged me to change from the full screen excellence of the OP7. Sure, there may be better phones out there, but I can’t get sick of seeing the nebula blue shimmer. Think it’s going to be a while till the next upgrade here!
So... since I am currently trying to upgrade from my old Sony Xperia 3+, the best bang for buck is 7T Pro 258GB variant. Especially if it is 679€ vs 899€ .
I have 2 offers, the one plus 7 pro (6/128 gb) for 550,00€ and the one plus 7t pro (8/256 gb) for 600,00€ both are in brand new condition. Which should I choose? I don't really know what's smarter or if the 50€ plus are worth it or not.
How much is the battery life better on the 8pro? Im getting around 4-6 h Screen on time on my 7pro( mostly Wifi) Is ist like 1 h more of SOT or even more than that?
My 7t pro is starting to become laggy and I've owned it for 1 year, also the battery has diminished significantly. My old p20 pro lasted much better for a 2 full year. I'm curious what the 7t pro will be like after another year. Scrolling at 90hzt is now stuttering and laggy. Videos randomly freeze so is till have sound but the picture freezes. When I click WiFi off my mobile date doesnt automatically kick in so I have to restart the phone When I crop a picture is takes between 7-9 second of "processing before the new pic shows. It's just really slowed up after 1 year
Love OnePlus as a brand & have been using them along with my iOS device since they launched here in India...though must say since last year they changed to a strange product launch strategy...agreed their T moniker models are the better ones than the regular versions...so 2 models a year spaced out is sufficient but they are rolling out 4...the 7 pro am using is fab in all aspects except not great in cam, hence carry the iPhone 8 Plus...

Must say - I was absolutely going to upgrade from the 7 pro to the new 8 pro. And after watching this - I'm definitely on the fence! Gorgeous phone but the 7 pro is great and to the untrained eye there's not a ton of difference in regular every day use!
Nice, it would have been cool to see some photo samples between them to see how much of a direct improvement there was on the camera. Regardless, I'll be keeping my 7 Pro. Nothing about the 8 Pro feels worth the massive price hike.
For all fans complaining about the prices, this is your fault. You guys wanted more, better, bigger and you got it. But as they say, beauty costs. But OP cares enough to give you what you want at a better price compared to others.
I want to buy 7 Pro or 7T Pro but I'm worried about software updates for next 2-3 years. Do you think this might be an issue? Don't see any point paying more for 8 Pro. Would appreciate your feedback.

I really need a phone with good battery life and a good camera. currently, I have a google pixel (the first release) but the battery is a disaster. I need to charge it after every video call. I never had an Oneplus phone. I am still researching but I can say I am convinced that Oneplus is offering more at a fair price. I don't like to pay 1000Euros for OP8. the OP 7t pro is also not so cheap (756 euros). But better than 1000. Do you recommend OP7t pro or OP8? is there much difference? Should I go for a second-handed phone or a brand new? Thanks in advance.

Got the 7pro 250gb version x 12 gb for only £280 on eBay .... I honestly feel like I’ve hit the jackpot! It is like new , came boxed complete with all accessories ! An absolute steal!
Thank you for your comparison!
I waited desperately for wireless charging, but it isn't worth the higher price imo.
Just ordered a cheap 7 pro for 20% less of the original pricing.
Good decision. The 7 Pro with the price decrease seems like the best option right now.
I will keep my OP 5T since it still serve what I need
Actually i used op5t and that was a great phone but I like curve display and I exchanged to buy op 7 pro
That's what I use and it's by far, the best phone I've ever had.
@@ItsTheMoneyGuy I can confirm that. Sent from a One Plus 5t
After seeing the prices on 8 series I upgraded to 7T from my 6T, the rest will go for upcoming PS5.
Finally what the PEOPLE NEEDS TO KNOW ..THANKS FOR THE DETAILED COMPARISON
The 7 pro is literally half the price of this right now.
I'm still using OnePlus 5. I plug it in every night and leave it plugged in all night long. It has not affected my battery in any way.
same here, still a fast phone plenty battery, i never charge overnight, just dash charge up to 70 or 80 in car or during day, works fine
I would like to see the difference between 7T and the 8 as there's currently only £50 difference showing on there UK website 🤔
If just that small difference. Then go for the 8 sir. Better processor and 5g for future proofing. But if bigger difference like 100. Then its ok to go for 7t and save a few bucks. Still a great phone.
Get the 8 for everything but the screen as the ugly hole is there
Now with the oneplus 8 pro out. The 7 series have a great value to price ratio.
I finally decided to watch steins gate because of your videos and now I feel pretty depressed but it was a good experience thanks 👍
Genuinely needed this comparison. Thanks
Can you suggest me which one to buy between one plus 7 T Pro and 8 pro !?
I went through all the specifics and still in dilemma which one to buy !!
Pls tell me which one is better !?
I know both have similar specs and unique feature but I would like to have closure!!!
Would go for 7t pro
Thanks for video!!!So op7 pro does not have video mode with wide angle?
Watching this on my OnePlus 3!
Yesss there are still people like me lol
Yeah, me2 😀. Battery is not that great anymore, but still pretty fast 😊
Watching this on one Plus X
Same!
Hey guys,
I don´t think the upgrade from the 7 Pro/7TPro for the new 8/Pro is worth it.
The selfie camera looked really nice and sharp in the 7T Pro
I upgraded from a OnePlus 3, which was still working fantastically, to a OnePlus 7 Pro last year.
This release hasn’t encouraged me to change from the full screen excellence of the OP7. Sure, there may be better phones out there, but I can’t get sick of seeing the nebula blue shimmer. Think it’s going to be a while till the next upgrade here!
Thank you for this comparison, keeping my 7t pro for now
Thanks for this amazing video it made me to keep my Oneplus 7T pro ^^ and not upgrade yet.....
I got the 7t and I'm trying to decide between the regular 8 or a 7 pro, any advice?
Tech Spurt : Sir as per your opinion which has best Display ( Color - Accuracy - vivid ) . any difference between 8 Bit panel vs 10 Bit panel ?
I'll stick to my OnePlus 7T 8/256
How much is that in us dollars?
Same
Me too. I soooo love this phone. Got this last Christmas as a gift for myself. It's an absolute beast and best bang for the buck for sure.
Good one, man👍🏾
Think I'm sticking with my 7 Pro. Will wait and see what the 8T will bring😁
Probably nothing worth the upgrade over the 8 pro, would wait for the 8t to get the 8 pro
So... since I am currently trying to upgrade from my old Sony Xperia 3+, the best bang for buck is 7T Pro 258GB variant. Especially if it is 679€ vs 899€ .
You will be pleased with that phone, trust me
Just found this channel and it's amazing 👍
pop up camera 😭😭
I knowwwww😂😂😂
I have 2 offers, the one plus 7 pro (6/128 gb) for 550,00€ and the one plus 7t pro (8/256 gb) for 600,00€ both are in brand new condition. Which should I choose?
I don't really know what's smarter or if the 50€ plus are worth it or not.
Is the jump on front cam quality significant from the 7t pro to 8? I hate the front cam on my 7t pro
Should I buy 7t pro or OnePlus 8 for camera please reply🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
great comparison. Will you also compare 7T and 8 standard versions?
Hey guys, I'm getting the One Plus 7 Pro and I'm looking for some good quality glass screen protector. What recommendations do you guys have?
Mocolo UV tempered from Aliexpress - Tried several and this was the best and have been using for over 8 months
This is the thing I'm waiting for. Thank you.
Do a camera comparison video of these three phones .
Where did you buy the phone stand?
Which color do you prefer ultramarine blue or glacial green?
Please compare one plus 8 pro and oppo find x2 in
1. Pulse width modulation
2. Battery life
3. OS usability.
When I click WiFi off my mobile date doesnt automatically kick in so I have to restart the phone
When I crop a picture is takes between 7-9 second of "processing before the new pic shows.
It's just really slowed up after 1 year
I have the 6T, but just pre ordered the 8 pro yesterday, can’t wait
Love OnePlus as a brand & have been using them along with my iOS device since they launched here in India...though must say since last year they changed to a strange product launch strategy...agreed their T moniker models are the better ones than the regular versions...so 2 models a year spaced out is sufficient but they are rolling out 4...the 7 pro am using is fab in all aspects except not great in cam, hence carry the iPhone 8 Plus...
What are youre decisive factors to go with the new but also more expensive (depending on the performange) OP8pro?
Idk about you but I just love British reviewers like tech spurt, bunch of silly blokes all of em 😂
Hey...I'm thinking of buying a new phone for my mom but I can't chose between the OnePlus 7T Pro and the OnePlus 8... I would really appreciate it if you make a comparison video between the two...Love your videos 😊
Go for 7T pro, 865 is nothing much, you can't see difference in performance, 7Tpro have better camera than 8
Anandita get the 7tpro it's better purchase
Buy redmagic nubia
OnePlus 8 pro
Loving the erza wallpaper!
Can anyone tell me where the best place to buy a new oneplus 7 pro is? I've heard you can get it for as low as $449, but can't find that deal anywhere.
omg one plus 7 pro is still expensive that's bad i wait until price drops to 350$
Must say - I was absolutely going to upgrade from the 7 pro to the new 8 pro.
Was considering changing to the 8 pro, but this is the video I needed to stick with my OnePlus 7 pro, thank you
Ome Plus 7T pro front camera looks a lot better in this video. I can't understand this properly, maybe some software issue in the new One Plus 8 Pro.
OnePlus 8 v OnePlus 7Pro
For all fans complaining about the prices, this is your fault. You guys wanted more, better, bigger and you got it. But as they say, beauty costs. But OP cares enough to give you what you want at a better price compared to others.
Much needed comparison. Would prefer different wallpapers on the phones next time though
I want to buy 7 Pro or 7T Pro but I'm worried about software updates for next 2-3 years. Do you think this might be an issue? Don't see any point paying more for 8 Pro. Would appreciate your feedback.
I use 7 pro before 6 month.....superb phone...i like pop-up camera ❤️
Much needed video. Thanks! Great content
The hole makes such a big difference. Couldn't 'upgrade' from the 7t pro. I am really hoping they will release the 8t pro soon with no cut out, 65w charging and improved os. I like the OS but I have issues with connection. I am using 2 Sims on different networks and it causes so many issues. Fantastic phones though.
I want that wallpaper....looks sick!!!
I was originally planning on getting the OP 8 Pro but now I'm considering a 7t Pro... Just doesn't seem like a huge upgrade to me. Is the camera substantially better on the 8 Pro? If not imma go with the 7t pro
Way better in 8 pro
I really need a phone with good battery life and a good camera. currently, I have a google pixel (the first release) but the battery is a disaster. I need to charge it after every video call. I never had an Oneplus phone. I am still researching but I can say I am convinced that Oneplus is offering more at a fair price. I don't like to pay 1000Euros for OP8. the OP 7t pro is also not so cheap (756 euros). But better than 1000. Do you recommend OP7t pro or OP8? is there much difference? Should I go for a second-handed phone or a brand new? Thanks in advance.
So which should i buy?
I have a 5T, which one is worth upgrading to?
Thanks for the video. I'm glad I'm going for the 8pro than the Samsung series
Video made it easier !
I ordered the 7t pro for just over £5oo just before this vid dropped lol my 3t
screen got damaged the day the 8 was released !
nearly went for it ;
Bro, I am planning to buy oneplus ,this is my first time i am going to use..so which model should i go? One plus 7T Pro, One plus 8, One plus 8 pro or One plus 8 T......in overall analysis?
Which one is better OP 7pro or 7T in 2020
Plz help.
Watching on my OP5T - considering an upgrade to the OP7T McLaren edition.....
Great choice
Which wallpaper app you are using for oneplus 8 pro
I'm really stuck between phones. Ease help.
OnePlus 7t pro or the normal OnePlus 8. My main use is watching TH-cam and netflix and flicking around online.
I can get the OnePlus 7t pro for £569 and OnePlus 8 for £599. Also is there much difference in battery life between the two
Will it be a good idea if I get oneplus7pro instead of oneplus8 pro(I doubt about its camera) or for iphone 11 (128 gb) considering I already have a s9+ .please reply
If you switch from s9 to i11 the display is a HUGE downgrade
cam is better on i11 though
Which would be best to buy oneplus 7t pro or oneplus 8 or samsung s10 lite?
Wish the op8 had a pop up camera option, love the full screen of the 7pro
I bought the 7t pro a while ago,and I see no reason to upgrade it to a 8 pro. As far as I'm concerned, they're almost the same phone except the $900 price tag on the newer model.
I was really expecting to upgrade to the 8 pro but after seeing this video I don't see the point, he even said himself there is not a noticeable difference. Guess ill stick to my 7 pro for now, and maybe get the next note device when it launches later this year.
thanks..after the high prices of oneplus 8 i was wondering how good it is comparw to 7pro and 7t now that i have decided to buy one of them.
What is the Oneplus 7 Pro's Touch sample rate ?
why would the add the camera inside the display...theee going backwards
Currently using the OnePlus 5 - love this phone! These 1440p high refresh, huge screens are pulling me in though.
