This plane was NOT shot down by a missile. Have any of you ever seen the damage that a missile does with an inflight plane? Check out the Lockerbie Crash, that was just a bomb on the plane, a missile would obliterate the plane compared to that. No, this was a problem with an engine probably most likely damaged by a bird strike. There are videos of the onboard passengers that show light damage to the wing that would explain why the pilot was having trouble keeping the plane level.
Actually engine worked well but hydraulic systems failed. If missile shot misses and explodes a little too far from the plane some shrapnels can reach. So It's definitely hit by air def. sys
Well, check again the flight MH17. It has the same sharpnel holes. FYI. a small SAM missile doesn't needed to obliterate the target aircraft but to scatter sharpnels and hit and damage its vital components. That's already enough to bring down even a large commercial plane. On this case, there were sharpnel holes on the aft of the plane and most probably severed the hydraulic lines and that would explain why it struggle to fly and land properly.
@@djharml3ss Wrong. The MH17 flight was much more damaged than what you could see in this airliner. The Missile would have had to be pretty far out to cause minor damage and I'm afraid that would mean it was several possibilities, including but not limited to a failed engine, a bird strike or even a drone? But a missile was not what would have caused so little damage. When a Surface to air missile explodes it causes more damage due to the fact that it's set to a proximate distance away from its target.
