What a coincidence. I never read anywhere thought of Selby as a veiled Vincent Price like Machiavellian in the extreme. Price would had fun doing this show. Roger and V.P. would have been a great rivalry.
@@johnnynoirman Well I never thought that exactly until you mentioned it but I did think of Selby to have a dramatic style that was a bit like Vincent's. Still a good difference between them I'd say.
What is Quentin's accent? It sounds like he belongs in a space show. Everyone from this time seem to be an asshole. "Liz" included. And "Roger" is quite humorless. Interesting to see the character are different from their descendants. I think lots of shows make him carbon copies, though I won't go as far to say this show is immune to it
Louis Edmonds was one of a kind. LOVED him in Dark Shadows!!
Louis Edmonds...just slightly over the top with that fantastic Theater voice to be a pure blast to watch.
Quentin Collins was one devilishly handsome fellow.
Ikr
With an emphasis on "devilishly"?
"I've made a decision."
"CONGRATULATIONS."
Any character that Roger plays always make me laugh; his sarcastic remarks are pure gold!
Louis Edmonds was magnificent on Dark Shadows.
I really need to get the DVDs, I miss this show.
If you're around Klingon, thanks for getting me into Dark Shadows .... "all those years ago".
You can find the complete series on amazon.com it's worth it😁😁🇺🇸🇺🇸💖💖
Quentin and Roger share the same dad however, different moms if I recall correctly?? Masterpiece! Nothing in Hollywood today CANT touch this!
and as.maaaaaaahd as these actors are, they've could make a play out of it. they are great at it.
David selby reminds me of elvis presley so much his blue eyes
evangeline douros He was a handsome fellow.
Louis Edmonds and Joan Bennett had so many great scenes across many time periods. In 1897, Edward and Quentin also were a plesure to watch
They just have so much fun.
Edward is about to have a sh-t fit when he tells Quentin to leave the house.
is Quinton really Batoffi in Quinton's Body in this episode?
Im so Quentin its too funny
Quentin is actually Wolverine
David Selby makes the perfect Vincent Price like character.
Right out of Shakespeare.
He kind of does have that character. Anyone else you can think of?
My channel is full of Vincent Price stuff.
What a coincidence.

Edward and Quentin were not two sides of the same coin, so much as their sides "overlapped" at times.

Inspector Spinda Quentin's accent is West Virginian.
1897 is considered the best era of the show. Most of the characters are multi-faceted and the storylines are very complex.
The West Virginian accent sounds like gold compared to the average modern American accents.
Inspector Spinda David is from Virginia
