She was Jenna when I saw Waitress. As you can see here, she did NOT disappoint!!!
I love how she obviously noticed they were recording because she was looking straight at the camera. Aside from that, Nicolette is truly an underrated Jenna, i wish i could find her whole performance as Jenna.
its actually really hard for them to see beyond a certain point because of the stage lights, maybe that was just the spot she is used to looking at
Magaly Becerra I heard that they can see it (if the camera has a red light) ik in Les mis Joshua colley has a few videos out there he notices a camera while he’s on stage (he was sort of higher up on a set) and Lin Manuel Miranda has said if he sees a camera he tells the people. And ik the stages are different but a lot of them are higher than pushed back... so it makes it a bit more realistic when I think about them being able to see a camera weather that be a glare or red light or whatever. But that also could just be the spot she looks as you said.
I love how in this one Jenna stands in her strength when she says "To fight just a little to bring back the fire in her eyes"
Loved hearing her sing a duet with her husband! Wish I could’ve been in NYC to see her in Waitress. We need to see her more often on Broadway originating roles!
I knew her because of her husband (Leslie Odom Jr), and a duet they sung together. Anyway, amazing actress. Simply outstanding.
I saw Waitress several times and Nicolette Robinson evoked more emotion from me and the audience than any of the others in this role.
I respectfully disagree. When I saw it with shoshana Bean she literally had people sobbing as did Stephanie Torns. That being said I still think Nicole is amazing, she just didn't set the standard

so happy she was my first Jenna to watch live 💖 her acting was INCREDIBLE. she connected so well with Jenna and the audience. was definitely one of the most inspiring and amazing experiences i’ve had in a theater

False. That is the original color dress for henna during this song. Look at Jessie mueller singing the song. Also the wig is WAY different than he other Jenna wigs! I think she was AMAZING!!

I bet good money that dress was Jessie muellers and they used it on her cause they were the same size. I say that cause it’s the only dress with that design and they never did another dress like after Jessie left. They changed it once Sara came in.
Henry Clifford yeah all of the dresses were different no two dresses were the same but this one. I think it was Jessies too

Queenofwheels messes up? ThT is VERY GERY common. If they have a dress that fits someone that was someone else’s before hand they are not going to make a new one. That would be mental😂 if that’s Jessie’s dress then she got it so she wore it too. They had Christine Dwyer wear Sara Bareilles wig .... it’s a business man. Why waste money on unneeded things.

I don’t want to be rude, she is really good, but I don’t feel her need to scream out this song because she is not feeling injustice like this character and song needs….. I did have this with the one ( jessie mueller) that originated the song and play though. Sorry!
