sir, thank you so so much. the way you explain each question from SO many papers has made me feel so much more confident at maths! you are a life saver. thank you for your efforts we all really appreciate it.
I have a question sir In Q13, you used the sine rule for the bigger triangle, but doesn't that formula need hyp (opposite to 90 degrees) ? Wouldn't tan again be used since you used the opposite to theta and adjacent? Would love to understand your answer. Great video btw!
@@zaaazach well I dont get much how he did this as well so I did it my own way Do 18/13 x 21 = 28 Now use Pythagoras theorem to find AD AD = 28^2 + 18^2, square root It'll give u 33. Something AD is diameter and radius is half of diameter so just divide it by 2 And you'll get your answer Also if your wondering why i did the first step 18/13.5 it's because these triangles r similar so there sides r too and we need to find the side BC so we already know AB it'll be BC/ AB = CD/BE then bring AB to other side
sir for number 21 the final answer is x^3-7x^2-43z+15, you wrote it as x^2 but it is x^3 and the marking scheme also agrees with x cubed not squared as the final answer

There are six equal angles at center so each angle will be 60, and in each triangle each of other remaining angles will also be 60. Sin is used for area of the triangle. Area =1/2 ab sinc
Triangle in a semi circle is right angle by rule so it's right triangle. Hope the point is clear. Also you can check new topic videos covering differentiation. th-cam.com/video/P41ge7ecgEE/w-d-xo.html
In triangle ABE it is BE/AB which is opposite/adjacent and in triangle ACD it is CD/AD Opposite/hypothesis which is sine, there is no mistake it this part.
You are talking about 0580, it's not like that Cambridge claims that they adjust the threshold according to the difficulty level, in case paper is easy you should not be happy as many be they will increase the threshold, that is why every exam has separate threshold. Hope it's clear.
for 5a why can't we use -2 or something if we use -2 our answer will be 76 right which is bigger than 52 so why r we using 1 but not other numbers. can someone explain this to me
You made a mistake on question 15, you wrote that the third angle cannot be more than 60°. It is supposed to be : The third angle cannot be *less* than 60° Much love ❤ ❤

i was so stuck on question 21 and my exam is tomorrow, thank u so much sir!
Thank you so much! My exam is tommorow and this helped me a lot! You are a good teacher, keep making these helpful videos 👍👍👍
I have a question sir
In Q13, you used the sine rule for the bigger triangle, but doesn't that formula need hyp (opposite to 90 degrees) ? Wouldn't tan again be used since you used the opposite to theta and adjacent? Would love to understand your answer. Great video btw!
angle ACD is 90
so we can already know that CD is the opposite and CA is the adjacent,
Therefore AD will be the hypotenuse
Angle in semi circle is 90
@@dattebayo2000 how?
@@zaaazach well I dont get much how he did this as well so I did it my own way
Do 18/13 x 21
= 28
Now use Pythagoras theorem to find AD
AD = 28^2 + 18^2, square root
It'll give u 33. Something
AD is diameter and radius is half of diameter so just divide it by 2
And you'll get your answer
Also if your wondering why i did the first step 18/13.5 it's because these triangles r similar so there sides r too and we need to find the side BC so we already know AB it'll be
BC/ AB = CD/BE then bring AB to other side

you make it seem so easy and it actually feels easy but i mess up so much when i do it my self

When are you doing igcse?
31:44 isnt it pqr and rpq are less than 60 so, prq is is more than 60 thus it is an isocele triangle??
Yup that's what I came here to write
life saver😁😁🙏🏾

Please explain number 16? i thought it was supposed to be (P-1)^2
thank you sooooo much

Thanks a lot
Thank you sir
Thanks so very much!
sir in last question why you took sin 60 ?
why you took angle 60 as it is isosceles triangle?
There are six equal angles at center so each angle will be 60, and in each triangle each of other remaining angles will also be 60. Sin is used for area of the triangle.
Area =1/2 ab sinc
Sir I had a doubt at 23:11 isn’t sin, cos and tan used only when there is a 90degree angle?
that is a right angled triangle, if you take a closer look! Angle ABE is a 90 degree angle
Triangle in a semi circle is right angle by rule so it's right triangle. Hope the point is clear. Also you can check new topic videos covering differentiation.
th-cam.com/video/P41ge7ecgEE/w-d-xo.html
22:57question 13 it should be opposite by adjacent
In triangle ABE it is BE/AB which is opposite/adjacent and in triangle ACD it is CD/AD Opposite/hypothesis which is sine, there is no mistake it this part.
are the recent papers (2019,2020) a bit harder than the previous one!
or i just feel it

Yea because we need to find a number which is less than 60 but is the highest number so 60-8n where n is 1 and the answer we get is the highest
Sir can u explain igcse maths past paper form 2002 to 2010
