You’re welcome. I’d recommend to check the drain pump filter. In most cases the door doesn’t open because the water has not drained too well because of a blocked pump filter. Also in the diagnostics mode check what was the last stored error in the memory of the machine, this might also let you know why the door might not have opened.
Same method applies to the tumble dryer EDC2086GW3 Meaning, start the dryer, switch to Extra Dry Cotton menu and hold the Start/Pause + Delicate touch buttons until entering the service menu. The service menu positions are found in the service catalog.
Good video. The annoying thing about this machine is I cannot just set a preferred time and wash cycle. I have to press the time button several times to take it to 1:05. It would be good if it had a favourite setting.

Just a quick question when doing the diagnostic and your going through each one do you stay in each one for a certain period of time or just a few secs then go onto the next one?
Just for a few seconds, just to confirm that the component is functioning as it should. The only test that I stay for longer would be the heating test, it takes 3-4 min to heat the water up.

Electrolux dont sell reed switches, you would need to buy it from a local electronics store and solder it in or buy a whole new valve from electrolux, it comes as a complete unit with valves and reed switch. Just make sure that the water is actually flowing when you get the EF4 error. Sometimes a faulty inlet valve can also give a EF4 error when no water is coming through the valves.

I really hope you might be able to help, I have a EWW12753 Washer/Dryer combo, and every so often during the middle of a cycle, usually wash/dry, it resets itself. It hasn't done it a long while, but it has started again, and it make a beep noise and switches off, or resets the cycle ( as if the dial is moved to another option and back, resetting any temp changes or dry times) and if I close the door normally it does the same thing sometimes, and most the time if i close a bit harder, like the board is shorting and the dial is intermittently failing and thinking it is being reset. It seems to do it while washing if it shakes.
Hello, Most likely it will be the dial pcb that has failed. Common issue with these machines. Try replacing the dial PCB first, they are cheap, around $40-$50.

E10 is a water inlet fault. Meaning the machine is having trouble filling with water. In the diagnostics mode, open the dispenser drawer and make sure all the compartments are filling with water on the water inlet valve test. E10 is mostly inlet valve related.

I managed to enter the diagnostic mode in PERFECT CARE 700. I think I pressed autodry and start in position no1. Run heating test it starts from around 4C degrees and goes up 1c every 30 sec like you said. It went up to 30 and switched. I opened the door and the inside is very hot. I did it cuz it was washing in very hot temperature in 60 deg setting. But it looks like the sensor is not working properly.
The start\pause button on my electrolux 2266 topdoor does not work although it registers the pressing with a sound. The tests all showed C6H. This happened after an electrical power failure in the middle of a washing cycle. Can you show how to reset? will that work?
Thank you for this video. My machine is pausing frequently with no error codes and then will even increase the wash time from 15 mins to 45 mins on a normal cycle. Do you have any clues to what might be happening?
When you enter the diagnostics menu and turn the dial to the 11th position, did it have any error stored in memory? If no error stored, then your machine might be going out of balance. And when it goes out of balance it skips back to the rinse cycle to try to redistribute the clothes and try to spin again. Front loading machines can go out of balance if the load of washing is too small or if there load is good size but one of the items is heavy and this can cause it to have balance issues.

Hello there I know this is over a year old but we are in New Zealand and have this exact model. Overall, it seems to be running fine and ran it through this diagnostic test. Nothing crazy came up but maybe E11. So willckean the water in and out. But the setting it doesn't want to wash in is Wool. It starts, it fills will water but the washing doesn't occur. The timer counts down still. What might be a possible cause for this?

Then simultaneously press and hold the start button and the button above it for about 3-5 seconds. this should make the machine enter the diagnostics cycle. Пожалуйста. Если что обращайтесь. Е10 это значит то что в стиралку не набирается вода. В основном это проблема с клапанами. Если опять появится эта ошибка то их довольно легко заменить.

Hey, You’re welcome. On this machine it should. But it does time out after a few min. You will need to switch to a different position for a few seconds and then back to the heater test. But if the temperature does rise and the glass gets warm, then this should indicate that the heater and temperature sensor is working fine.

I'll get the occasional E10 error but on every wash it'll just pause by itself about 3 times every wash. Pressing start will get it to resume. The water pressure is fine and when I connected it to the hot tap it completed 4 washes without any errors or pauses. When connected to the cold water supply and on a cold wash it'll still pause by itself. Thanks again for your help.

The only thing that I can think of to increase the water level would be to make the pressure tube to the pressure sensor slightly longer. But it will be a bit of trial and error to get the desired water level. Start with a longer hose and cut it shorter to lower the water level.

Check your heater element for earth leakage and resistance of the heater with the multi-meter before changing the main PCB. These errors are good help most the time and let you know where to look but are not always 100% accurate.
@@ApplianceFault hello again, finally fixed the machine. I checked the heater, heater was ok. So i fixed the main pcb, i found a faulty power relay on the card and replaced the relay with new one. Now machine is ok. Thanks for your help.
Not a problem. EH0 error doesn’t exist. You need to enter the diagnostics menu and go to the error read out setting to get a correct error code. It will range from EH1 up to EH5 or 6. Once you get correct error read out you can check the meaning on our website.

There is no such code as EFO in the service manual. Did you get this code from the diagnostics mode or did it just come up on the screen during the cycle?
You need to go into the diagnostics mode and retrieve the correct fault code from the memory of the machine. In a lot of cases the code displayed during the wash cycle is just a generic code that is not very helpful, but in the diagnostics mode it will display a more specific code to the problem.

Hello, Yes you can. If you go to Electrolux website in your country and download the user manual for your model it should tell you the sequence of buttons to press to turn off the sound.
Unfortunately there is no reset on these machines. Only thing you can try is to unplug the machine from power point for 10 min. But if there is a problem, it needs to be rectified before the machine will function properly again.
It could be a problem with the program selector dial. Sometimes on these machines the selector dial starts to play up and turns off the machine and turns it back on.

Yes, flow meter is part of the water valves. Most likely it will be a sticky valve that doesn’t open sometime to let the water in

E57 is a motor related error. It’s either the motor or the motor control module. In most cases it’s the motor control module.

Check your heater element for earth leakage and resistance of the heater with the multi-meter before changing the main PCB. These errors are good help most the time and let you know where to look but are not always 100% accurate.
@@ApplianceFault hello again, finally fixed the machine. I checked the heater, heater was ok. So i fixed the main pcb, i found a faulty power relay on the card and replaced the relay with new one. Now machine is ok. Thanks for your help.

Not a problem. EH0 error doesn’t exist. You need to enter the diagnostics menu and go to the error read out setting to get a correct error code. It will range from EH1 up to EH5 or 6. Once you get correct error read out you can check the meaning on our website.

E5H error is a motor control board problem.
Check all the connections on motor control and main PCB board to make sure no plugs are loose. If all plugs are connected properly, replace the motor control board.
@@ApplianceFault are the motor control and main PCB board separate? Or part of the one unit? I have removed the box from bottom right below drum from back panel and connections as well as board looks ok so probably needs replacing! Thanks again.
Yes, they are seperate units. The motor control board is usually at the bottom near the motor.

Hello, I have the E42 error Door Lock Faulty. There are clothes stuck in the machine, but the door won’t open. When I enter diagnostics mode, the door keeps clicking and E42 flashes on every position on the dial. What steps can I take on my own before calling a technician?

What the code EFO mean?
There is no such code as EFO in the service manual. Did you get this code from the diagnostics mode or did it just come up on the screen during the cycle?

You need to go into the diagnostics mode and retrieve the correct fault code from the memory of the machine. In a lot of cases the code displayed during the wash cycle is just a generic code that is not very helpful, but in the diagnostics mode it will display a more specific code to the problem.

Have you checked to make sure the child lock isn’t activated? Download a user manual for your machine to see how to deactivate the child/key lock.
So what happens if when you do this none of the steps work as it just says E41 on ever one?

Yes got it closed and it did the diagnostic and end result I think I need a new water inlet

Yes you can. If you go to Electrolux website in your country and download the user manual for your model it should tell you the sequence of buttons to press to turn off the sound.

Unfortunately there is no reset on these machines. Only thing you can try is to unplug the machine from power point for 10 min. But if there is a problem, it needs to be rectified before the machine will function properly again.

It could be a problem with the program selector dial. Sometimes on these machines the selector dial starts to play up and turns off the machine and turns it back on.
