Hi, yes you can simply select comfort mode rather than timer mode which will hold the room at your set comfort temperature while the heater is on. Please refer to the manual for detailed instructions (but it is the sun symbol on the top row of the display)
The circle with a line through it on the programmer will set the heater into standby mode. To turn off the power completely, use the rocker switch located on the right hand edge of the heater, above the cable inlet.
Why are there no written instructions to tell you how to set the time in the instruction book????
