I personally left the band in 2000, but as of my knowledge there wasn't a Poets of Rhythm show in their later line ups for a while now. But some of us are still pretty busy, first and foremost JJ Whitefield, but also his brother Max with his label in Ghana, or fellow horn man Wolfi with a number of bands. I'm also still active with the Ancient Cosmonauts, Feed LA and my trumpet-punk outfit Doping the Void. If you loved our Discern / Define record, you most certainly will like the only slightly jazzier approach of my band Feed LA.
