Wouldn’t it be easier to purchase a lower tier screen like XR of the matrix treadmill instead of XUR and then purchase a tablet or inexpensive TV to mount in front? All of course If you had no intention to use the IFIT subscription. I feel like that could shave off thousands
The Matrix TF50 is the most comparable to the NordicTrack 2450 in Matrix's lineup. The main differences are that the Matrix has a higher weight capacity, but a slightly smaller motor and running surface.

I think you can get it below 5k. Buying equipment is like buying a car, you should negotiate. All the horror stories I have heard from others with NT and other companies drove me in this direction. I went brick and mortar to test it out and so service will be accessible. Glad I did, because the NT 1750 bounced like a trampoline.

Is it recommended to put a mat beneath the treadmill? We plan on putting ours on the concrete floor in our garage.
Yes, we recommend placing a rubber mat underneath the treadmill.

I think you can get it cheaper if you opt for a low tech screen, depending on where you buy it from!
