Bianca doesn't want to leave Ricky behind so Tiffany tells her to bring him - Simon can look after her stall. Maybe what Carrie said was right after all - maybe Gianni has a problem with Lenny because of his colour. There is general consternation over the café art exhibition. Only Huw is appreciative. An angry Gianni comes to the café - where is Teresa? He's had to close the restaurant because of her no show. Teresa publicly tells Gianni she knows what his problem is with Lenny - it's because Lenny's black. Gianni is shocked and hurt at Teresa's accusation.
Giannis not a racist why would he be ?? Hes Italian, he had a mixed raced ex fiance, played with Gitas Daughter who's Indian and Gitas Indian/Hindu. Not to mention hes served black people in the restaurant
Theresa just said it to hurt Gianni. It was out of line but if Gianni stayed out of her love life she wouldn’t have accused him of it. He was too overbearing.
Technically an Italian can be racist to someone, just like an English person etc but Gianni wasn't racist, Teresa wanted to hurt him for telling Tony about her and Lenny. Teresa was spoilt and Gianni was a playboy, he seemed to love Steve's sister Jackie who ended up hurting him because of her menopause, he seemed to have mommy issues. They got rid of the di marcos as they didn't like them, even klled Rosa off screen. They weren't too bad especially before. It was quite a good era especially after Sharon and Michelle left. Tony treated Simon so badly, he wasn't taking the break up well with Teresa

Gianni was pathetic he had no business interfering in Teresa’s love life she wasn’t a little girl she was old enough to make up her own mind who she was dating
