I stay to my acrylics. I didn’t like the corners on this. And I think I can’t make that commitment to one color for that long. But it was nice to see a new technique ☺️👍🏻
Are you used to the smell of the acrylics?
Laurart yeah, because the smell isn’t very intense in my salon. They have really high ventilation there but in the first one that I used to go, for like 1 or 2 times, it was really bad. I actually got light headed once...
Do you change the color more often than every two weeks?
Laurart no, but I really like ombré nails, so with 2 colors. White tip and glitter bottom and I don’t think that’s possible with that...
I'll be posting soon a baby boomer nails with dip powder (white & pink) It's possible to create an ombre with this method but It might take you more time especially if you are already skilled in acrylic.

Ja robię tylko sobie więc nie ma problemu, ale w salonach powinno się przesypac do oddzielnego pojemniczka i posypywać mokra bazę z góry przy pomocy szpatulki.

I personally think that the best way to do dip powder is either on top of acrylic or on top of full cover nail tips. It’s damn near impossible to get the dip powder off of natural nails and is really damaging. On the full cover nail tips, I just use a card to lift the nail off of my natural nail and it’s super easy and not damaging to start a new set. But I do love dip powder because of how it’s a little less messy than gel and it has longer staying power.
Have you tried doing infill? You don't have to fully remove the dip powder. By starting with first clear layer you can leave it for the next set and don't touch the natural nail plate at all 👍
Laurart that’s a good idea. I might try that out. Last time I really ripped the heck out of my nails and the skin around them so I’m taking a break from fake nails, but I’ll give that a try!
Removal is usually the step when you can really do some serious damage if you don't have the patience 😅
how do you recommend removing dip nails? I have tried SO many different ways and it always takes me forever and I end up having to pick some of it off. I usually file off as much as I can and then soak them in acetone. They'll be soaking for no joke like 40 minutes and the polish won't budge lol
Pretty much the same method. File off and soak off the rest. Keeping acetone for such a long time is not really effective because it evaporates from the wraps that's probably the reason why the dip wouldn't come off.
You could also dip clear powder as a first layer then when changing the color just file to the clear layer without touching your natural nail plate.

When you did it the first time, did you already have a base coat for the powder to stick to?

Laurart sin usar lampara?
It is best do pour over the nail. Dipping with anything wet or sticky can clump your powder and or make it less effective.

Dlaczego tytan odchodzi mi prY skorkach? Pęka też na czubkach i odpryskuje.. Paznokcie robione mam w salonie😭
Najwyraźniej jest źle kładziony i produkt sie zapowietrza dlatego odchodzi Ci od skórek. Tytan ma to do siebie, że jeśli uwierzysz gdzies paznokciem może pójść na nim rysa jak poprawia raz czy dwa w to samo miejsce to lubi się ukruszyc. Może byc tez tak, że stylistka źle pracuje materiałem przy wolnym brzegu.
Is this like acrylic?
It's similar to acrylic but you don't have to use monomer so there's less smell. It's like finely milled acrylic with extra ingredients.

Bonjour le protocole n’est pas du tout bon un premier temps il faut mettre du primeur sinon ça va se décoller ensuite une couche clear puis deux couches de couleur encore une couche de clear Après l’activator et on fait la forme et on fini par deux couches de top coat

Nie wieder!!! Habe mir das Zeug zugelegt... Ich kriege es nicht mehr von den Nägel. Das Zeug ist fester wie Acryl. War damit dann im Nagelstudio . Die hatten auch Mühe es ab zu bekommen. Sie haben eine Stunde gebraucht.🙄
