Saint Lorenzo Ruiz is also known as the Saint Lawrence of Manila. He is a Filipino Saint, the first person from Philippines to be venerated by the Catholic church. Saint Lorenzo Ruiz was born around the year 1600 in Manila, Philippines. He was the son of a Chinese father and a Filipino mother. He was working as a clerk at the Binondo Church when he was falsely accused of killing a Spaniard in 1636. Watch his amazing story today!
