Congratulations! I have one semester left of nursing school. Your videos are encouraging. I’m so happy for you! Sounds like you’ve adjusted quite well.
I have a discussion idea for you. Can you talk about the feelings, the fears, and the ways you adjusted from nursing school to taking the NCLEX to finding work and then working on finishing your BSN. Those are huge milestones that are intimidating to me at this point. So much change so quickly!

Jade, what exactly does a rapid response entail. What initiates it? What does it mean?

Barbara Purcell it means that my patient has had a change in condition and I need doctors to have eyes on them ASAP, so they call a rapid response through the hospital and a team shows up to see what’s going on!
