    Shatavari is known to improve breast milk production and for best quality you can opt for planet Ayurveda as they have shatavari in different forms like capsules, ghrita and churna.

    • @Mylittlemoppet
      @Mylittlemoppet  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for the recommendation! Shatavari is indeed valued for supporting breast milk production. Breast milk production can be so individual, and many moms find that certain foods-like oats, fenugreek, or even almonds work well as personal “boosters.” Every mom’s body responds differently, and finding the right combination of support can make all the difference!

    How do relactate after stopping breastfeeding. My doctor advised me to give him both formula n breastmilk since he was born with a low birth weight! Now he got used to bottle milk. Please give me some tips on this!

    • @Mylittlemoppet
      @Mylittlemoppet  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Relactation is absolutely possible, though it can take patience and dedication. Try offering the breast whenever your baby shows signs of hunger, even if they seem to prefer the bottle. Start with skin-to-skin contact; this closeness helps stimulate milk production and encourages your baby to latch. Pump every 2-3 hours during the day and once at night. Consistent pumping mimics a baby’s feeding pattern and tells your body to produce more milk. Aim for 15-20 minutes per session. Make sure you’re drinking plenty of water and eating a balanced diet rich in protein, healthy fats, and complex carbs. Some mothers also find that lactation-supportive foods like oats, flaxseed, and fenugreek help. Also discuss it with your gynecologist to provide you with supplements that would boost the breastmilk production.

      It's completely understandable to feel concerned, but breastfeeding is a learning process for both you and your baby so don't get stressed momma. At 1 month, your baby's stomach is still small like a size of a marble as baby grows her tummy size also increases, so she might not drink much at each feed but you would need to feed frequently, about every 2.5 to 3 hours, or even less. This frequent feeding helps stimulate your milk supply. To boost milk production, you can include breastfeeding-friendly foods in your diet, such as methi (fenugreek), which is known for aiding lactation. You can add methi leaves or seeds to parathas or curries. Saag (leafy greens) like spinach and mustard greens are rich in iron and can help with lactation as well. Oats are another great option, and you can have oatmeal or add them to smoothies. Garlic, commonly used in Indian dishes like dal or soups, is also known to improve milk flow. Additionally, almonds and dry fruits provide healthy fats and nutrients that support both your energy and milk production. Lastly, remember to rest whenever you can; stress can affect milk supply, so stay relaxed and focus on feeding your baby frequently. This will allow your body to adjust naturally to her needs. If you continue to have concern with low breastfeeding reach out to your gynecologist and ask her to suggest you with some galactagogues to boost your milk supply.

      Please try the other ideas as well. Everyday you have to incorporate 5-7 or more ingredients into your diet for the results to be clear. Have dill leaves, methi ke laddoo, dry fruits, nuts and seeds etc. Check the following links for more details. Also your gynecologist would have given you some prescribed lactating powder mixes you can have those as well along with it.

      Foremost, make your baby suck your breasts on scheduled time of her meals this will stimulate your brain to produce milk, increase skin to skin contain, drink saunf water, saunf with ajwain, eat dill leaves, dill seeds tea, dry fruits and seeds powder etc For promoting breastmilk. And most importantly don't take any tension or stress if the child is unable to feed such then you can massage or can express your milk to maintain your breastmilk

      It's common for some moms to experience concerns about milk production, especially if they notice changes like breast sagging. First, know that sagging doesn’t directly impact milk supply. Milk production is more about stimulation and how often you feed or pump. To encourage milk flow, try frequent feeding or pumping sessions, even if only a small amount comes out initially-this signals your body to produce more.
      Skin-to-skin contact with your baby can also help increase milk flow, as well as relaxing and staying hydrated. Adding foods like oats, fenugreek, dill leaves or almonds to your diet (check my blog for more recipes and list of natural foods that would help her to boost milk)may boost milk naturally for some moms. Remember, every mom’s journey is unique, and sometimes a combination of methods works best. Inform your friend that she is doing a wonderful job, and with a little patience, things often improve!
