How can an interview tear you up.....Gulzar Saab is a national treasure. To describe him in words is almost blasphemous (simply because he is the greatest wordsmith ever). Khushi ek phuljadi hai jo pal bhar ke liye jalti hai, udaasi agarbati hai jo der tak mehsoos hoti hai.

gulzars writing is so personal yet so universal. the way he portrays women in his writings just opened up a different perspective in me to look at women. the way he appreciates women’s beauty is very beautiful.
Have no word to describe my feelings to listen to his voice, his tone , his poem, his nazm. Lastly my father who is no more was so much like him ( lookwise).He used to also wear white pyjama kurtas, white hair and white mustache... I am missing him but trying to find him in gulzar saheb. Love you Gulzar saheb and Anupam kherji. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Being a writer, always find solace in the works of Rabindranath Thakur, the way he has put every possible human emotions into ornamental literature, we can always turn to them no matter what! Be it the first downpour of northwestern or the eternal pangs of separation, or the vehement expression of patriotism or spiritual surrendering, there's not a single emotion, no matter how complex, that can't be expressed with something in Tagore's treasury!! Loose myself amidst the finely woven fabric of his short stories or bask in the most purest form of love skillfully penned down by the one and only kobiguru..
We Bengalis don't really need a special day to celebrate Tagore, as he is deeply intertwined with our daily lives ..

I just saw this. What a treasure! I was touched by the wonder and admiration on your face, Shri Anupamji, as you listened to to Pujya shri Gulzar, speak. I left India, a long time ago. But my heart never left home. You have lit a spark, in giving a new life to my nostalgia, so much of which, is in the films, the songs, as they touched my life, and my beloved family. Such a treasure trove of live autobiographies, in spoken words. I am quite addicted to your "life mein kuch bhi ho saktha hei".🙏

I've had a chance to read much of Gulzar Sb's writings. His poetry is unique and soul-touching. His 'Nazm--Mujhe Afsos Hai Sonaa' is a master-piece! Buhut hee naazuk ehsaas! ❤️ from 🇦🇫🇦🇫🌹❤️

Not sure i remember the name of the story but one the stories of by R.N.T. was about a servant giving his son to the master. I hardly come across such human stories.

That story is "Khakababur Protyaborton" ( i.e., return of the master's son) by Rabindranath Tagore. A movie was also made on this story.

His work is PHD material for a generation. So huge treasure of knowledge, poetry, literature and class. His collaboration with hemant kumar ji songs is first phd thesis, lyrics writer of world class , talent like William Shakespeare
