I can remember my grandma Smith plugging her iron into the light socket to do her ironing.

Oh Roger, you have no idea of the tremendous pains of living in a hard water area. The dry skin, mucky water stains, cloudy hot drinks and dandruff is enough to drive anyone to the point of insanity if they didn't know better. My aunt once handed me an iron to use abroad, and because the iron tasted soft water for the first time in it's lifetime it started spluttering out calcium rocks (to be fair it was sitting around for a while).
I've been unknowingly watching this channel since I was really young and rediscovered your videos around the pandemic

I invested last year in the Miele fashionmaster Ironing system!! Never ever going to a “regular” iron combined with miele laundty care my clothing and bedding towels never looked better

Looks very good, my standard Iron is a Tefal it’s excellent, I also have a steam generator Iron by Polti (Italian) that’s very good indeed, good for big amounts of laundry, the Tefal I use for lesser amounts 2-4 items.

I have a few regular steam irons and my T-Fal UltraGlide is my favorite including my Rowenta which is also very good.

I might also buy a Tefal steam iron station because my Philips steam iron broke yesterday as I was nearly finished with the last piece of clothing I had to iron. It sadly trips the circuit breaker now because I think a hose something that carries water was leaking all over the element after 2 years of very heavy use(I like to iron nearly every bit except underwear and my mum, my two little brothers, my grandma and I have a lot of laundry every week). Should've really listened to my grandma when I was buying the Philips because she told me I should've went for a Tefal instead(She owned one from the early 90s and it was lasting until 2 years ago). And I'm also fed up with filling the water tank on normal steam irons after two to three garments so an ironing station would be ideal

Wow like a steam sauna that's a lot of steam output

I like this! Interesting to see that it can be used on delicate fabrics on a hanger with steam only. I like a good iron. I usually go for Rowenta.

Rowenta and Tefal irons are both owned by Groupe SEB, they're practically the same brand

As for myself, Rowena boy. Sew for a side hustle, actually use a Hamilton beach iron for day to day use

Absolute beast of an iron. Just ordered one and can’t wait to try it. How is it performing after nearly one year since this video?

It still works, though it only gets used once a week.

Did the plant survive being steamed? 😊

Plants benefit from a bit of steam from time to time and yes, the plant is still alive.

Does the steam diminish after like 5 seconds continuous pressing the button? Mine does, I need others review on that to decide should I take it to the store or not? Thanks. Great video

Wonder how this iron compares to that old Elena press you showed quite a while ago.

      @ibaisaic  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Make sure you have filled the water tank. The light may also flash if the iron has been stored in a temperature below 10C. You also need to press the OK button after plugging the iron in. Full instructions can be found on Tefal’s website.

I have purchased this product, but it works as a basic iron, however, I cant get any steam out of it. Have tried all the trouble shooting, ie ensuring sufficient water etc, but after a few attempts, I still cant get it generate any steam. Going to try taking it to a Tefal repair centre to see if it can be repaired?

If you purchased it brand new, then you should return it.

Your Mum needs to teach you how to iron a shirt properly
