So grateful to learn that the knee lifter can be stored under the extension table and that it clips in. My machine is new I have not even used it yet, but was trying to figure where I could store the knee lifter.
These videos are sooooooo helpful. I got my new machine yesterday and was completely fllumoxed trying to thread it. I'm off and running now. Can't wait to see the other videos.
Excellent explanation of all the accessories. I only piece and free motion quilt, but I did put on a zipper once using my Janome 7700 (now gone). This machine seems to be the perfect one, smaller than the 7700 and other subsequent similar models yet has enough extras to make it very user-friendly, plus it will fit in the opening in my solid wood sewing machine table my husband made for me, bonus! The 7700 was always overkill for me, never used most of its features, but I am not a huge fan of the Juki HZL G200 I bought afterward-the feed dog lever slipped off in the down position making it only good for free motion, not piecing, and it's louder than my Janomes-I bought a barely used 6500 from my repair guy and like it, but want a few features this one has, slightly larger throat space and no screwdriver needed to remove the needle plate. I do have an issue on the 6500 with the bobbin case being jumpy and clattery, though, so I have a new one coming in case this one is out of round. Have you heard any complaints about the bobbin case on the 6700? I see that same complaint about the 6500 all the time, its only real issue ~Cynthia
I am looking at treating myself to a new Janome sewing machine and this one that think I would like! Great video! Very informative. I have had a Memorycraft 4000 for many years and still a great machine.
Thank you so much. I have the machine 3 years en finisch 2 pieces of clothing because i dont like the machine. The stich is shaking. In need a hand for the Needle and after because its walking left or right. I started over again. Gr dian
Does any of the needle plates have screw holes to attach adjustable screw on seam guide ? Also, is there an optional attachment for tape binder guide or makers ?
And another question.. Is this a machine who sewing elastic stitches easily? My JUKI dx 7, is not so happy with elastic and decorate stiches… Excuse my English. I am from Greece
the reason the machines have a maximum size it so you dont hit the needle plate when at max stitch width. however, if you are just doing a straight stitch or a smaller stitch width, you can use a larger twin needle. just rotate the handwheel by hand through a full stitch cycle first to make sure it doesn't hit the plate
@@MontavillaSewing Thank you for your answer! It’s important to me, because I use top stitches often, and I would like to know if I can buy this machine!!! God bless u
This is one of the best reviews (better than Janome!). Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Wow, thank you!

That knee lifter is really handy. I keep mine attached to my machine all the time. Love my 6700. Watch all my videos on this machine.
I just got my machine and your explanations are very clear and helpful. Thank you so much ❤

Hello Karen!
Please exlaine me why, I cannot use other twin needle? More winder!
I sew jeans and I want to do the double line stiches of topstitch.
Does any of the needle plates have screw holes to attach adjustable screw on seam guide ?
Also, is there an optional attachment for tape binder guide or makers ?
I believe there is a threaded screw hole on the right.
How can I purchase 2 needle holder’s for threading . Could you please send me a link . Thanks .
And another question..

Excuse my English. I am from Greece
Why, I can’t use a larger twin needle..
I need the 4 ml for my jeans topstitches?
If I don’t make decorative stitches but only topstitches, is ok?
