Zondax As a Highlander priest (Sans Kazamakus), I felt offended by that priest's insistance on roping and using that elder god. It really sucks after a long while as it's just burning away your deck and depriving you of long-term options.
Wasn't the eye for an eye sort of guaranteed lethal? If he hit the opponent with his weapon before ending the turn, the opponent would have been down to 2 hp. Healing himself to 4 and attacking with the lowest attack minion (ysera) would have still killed him right? Correct me if I'm wrong tho
Kibler was better at card games than anyone in his chat 20 years ago. Don't know why people bother trying to "point out the right play." He's a f***ing Hall of Fame MtG player.
Although they are both card games they're quite different, each in their own right and while I don't disregard Kibler's ability to play Hs at a high level of gameplay I don't think the glory he's achieved in a different game indicates we should take his plays for granted. This being said, I am aware of the many "experts" in chat pointing out the "right plays/misplays".
wwwggxcom The "glory he achieved" was achieved in a game that takes much more skill than Hearthstone. It's very rare for Kibler to make stupid misplays because of his skill level and attention to detail.
Curator is such a good card that I recommend crafting it to use in your control decks, not just for this one. I'd scrape together the dust and make it if I were you. Otherwise you should be fine with replacing a Scalebane or a Primordial Drake with whatever cards fit.
I play big priest fairly often and honestly half the time it feels like I either play everything or I don't play anything at all. It's generally better to just go early I think than wait and guarantee that they have the equality or whatever.
@5:40 why didn’t you play two pyromancer stories make it a 1/5 instead of 1/3 chance of not winning that turn? I would think you want to have the best odds in an RNG game?
i'm guessing his thinking is that if he loses the 1/5 then he is in MUCH worse position then what happened (him losing the 1/3), because then he would be without both pyros, which are equality activators.
It would be a 1/4 because he would have had to trade in a recruit (Consecrate would have killed both recruits and both pyros). But I still get what you mean.
How can the game know when you have a tough turn or not? There are some turns where I feel the time limit is not enough to think about every option or potential answer from my opponents. Sure, they could maybe reduce the timer in the first couple of turns but there is no straight forward solution.
John Doe I think 30 seconds per turn would be nice, but unused time gets carried over to your next turn, up to a cap of 2 minutes. Or something like that. Of course, with variable turn times they would really need to have a clock showing your turn time.
Could have won 6 turns sooner (almost 7) "oh ya I could have but decided not to" no he clearly stated "I am not eye fo eyeing against an opponent that can heal himself" for someone who keep track of cards he used both greater healings and you have the additional 4 damage in your weapon you would have needed..... For a pro he makes common errors and has a MASSIVE ego XD Normally I like kibler streams but every so often I see his inner toddler
He was taking everything into consideration, including the possibility that the opponent would play around eye for an eye (which kibler admits later that if he KNEW how the opponent was going to play, he would have chosen eye)
I honestly don't think big decks are that good in this meta. I don't know why I see so many of them, they get rekt by both highlander and Jade. I don't even play a completed Highlander and destroy them
Because once you lose enough in ranked you'll start to get matched up against decks/players you can actually beat, even if your deck isn't great. Your rank doesn't really matter unless you want to climb to legend.
I tend to get something to drink while searching in hearthstone since it takes almost no time and that tends to sometimes burn down the rope alot He could've also had many other reasons why he burned the rope so its kinda strange to hear you talk about it as if its malicious intent You can't really know that without knowing the person on the other side
Clicking end turn at the end of the rope two turns in a row isn't coincidence. You click it before it burns out because it doesn't shorten your next turn. He's at rank 2, playing a slow deck that doesn't do anything proactive until turn 4+. People do this to tilt people into either conceding because they feel like their time is wasted, or just to throw off opponents. He could also have been looking for Kibler's stream on twitch. Either way, I doubt he's off drinking random liquids somewhere.
Yeah but he didn't just rope, he roped but clicked "end turn" right before the rope was at the end, so that he doesn't get the "time penalty" on his next turn. And he did that multiple times, which does point towards malicious intent (it doesn't 100% prove it, but Kibler is right to suspect it)
I understand what you mean, I also try and give people the benefit of the doubt, but considering he did it multiple times and even clicked 'end turn' there's just no way he wasn't doing it on purpose.
"I can see that your time has no value, you're just a jerk"
I love when Kibler throws that shade
I have no time for games!
It's time to craft Nozdormu 🤔
Cacthios but then he does the same for obvius turns but hey its his channel right :D
XxJetGxX No, he ropes to think about turns. Use your brain.
found the salty priest
ravvy Direct your comment at someone, boss.
Man, the last time I was this early Arthas was still a Paladin
And Sargeras was a Good Titan
And Garrosh a good warchief.
@Victoria Velez That's so long ago that I can't even remember.
When Uther has more friends than you FeelsBadMan
Kibler couldn't take that eye for an eye if he wanted his video to hit 10 minutes
always so satysfying to see cancer priest gettin reckd
Hey kibler love your videos,Ihave no time for the streaming but those epic moments are worth it.
"He wastes time roping" Kibler proceeds to rope most of his turns himself.
but he's thinking about the plays he's going to make, it's more than likely the other guy was roping on purpose to frustrate his opponent
Wait.. is naxx out yet ?
Kennan yo ?
*insert joke about "The last time I was this early...."*
ChagPomp
Right?
Seriously though, I love it that this joke is still around :D
I swear I thought the opponent's name was KingRoper
sheepblack69 kibler roped plenty of times when the play was obvious
even when talking about spending his time brian has to go for the "Value" control player to his core. Love you brian keep up the great vids!
When you are so bad that you need to play priest and intentionally rope in order to get a good winrate ...
Zondax As a Highlander priest (Sans Kazamakus), I felt offended by that priest's insistance on roping and using that elder god. It really sucks after a long while as it's just burning away your deck and depriving you of long-term options.
Maybe that person plays on mobile from work. I do it and sometimes gotta rope cuz I'm busy. Sometimes I don't even play anything and waste my turn :-(
I remember one/two year(s) ago when priest was a total joke with only the dragon archetype as a tier 3 deck
Aziz Elbiche I remember the times in which shaman was the biggest joke. Before tunnel trog and totem golem were released.
He shouldnt play Hearthstone while he is working
Wasn't the eye for an eye sort of guaranteed lethal? If he hit the opponent with his weapon before ending the turn, the opponent would have been down to 2 hp. Healing himself to 4 and attacking with the lowest attack minion (ysera) would have still killed him right? Correct me if I'm wrong tho
You're right. I'm rank 20 trash but even i could see it.
Kibler was better at card games than anyone in his chat 20 years ago. Don't know why people bother trying to "point out the right play." He's a f***ing Hall of Fame MtG player.
But this is Hearthstone...
wwwggxcom Your point?
juttyism Everyone can be wrong sometimes...
Although they are both card games they're quite different, each in their own right and while I don't disregard Kibler's ability to play Hs at a high level of gameplay I don't think the glory he's achieved in a different game indicates we should take his plays for granted.

How does Kibler feel being the most handsome memer around
He is a pretty handsome dude.
Nice deck.. Is there any repacement for the Curator?
Curator is such a good card that I recommend crafting it to use in your control decks, not just for this one. I'd scrape together the dust and make it if I were you.
Otherwise you should be fine with replacing a Scalebane or a Primordial Drake with whatever cards fit.
Or just get the adventure, it's got enough good cards.
You can't craft Curator if you don't own the adventure, or atleast the wing Curator is in.
I have the expansion but i disenchanted him..my bad
I like how Wegis Kilbin actually made Legend this ladder and Kib-a-ler didn't
Hey bud I heard on Toast stream you were Canadian? What city dawg?
BTW your matches with Toast are awesome.... please try to play more often you guys are the best
Eye for an eye was actually lethal.
Juan Sobral and nobody saw it. Just us bro
wow, that HUGE mistake at the end, "Lets play all my minions out, i dont care about Equality!" - GG.
Darkburrow it's big priest, you play it by face rolling out big minions that have no business being in play early game.
Darkburrow either that or have no tempo
I play big priest fairly often and honestly half the time it feels like I either play everything or I don't play anything at all. It's generally better to just go early I think than wait and guarantee that they have the equality or whatever.
7:20~ why not equality drake (cause of obsidian ok) xD
How dare you rope my man Brian?!
can someone explain why he runs the fireflies??
Matias Fariña It's a good 1 drop
For turn 1 plays against aggro mayhaps, but I'd say mostly for the Tarim value
confushisushi i guess, but maybe i would include righteous protector
Decent enough targets for Spikeridge Steed, can be used with Tarim as 3/3 bodies, and just a decent early game play.
Getting Eye for an eye from the hidrologist would have killed the Priest.
Did I hear a salty Kibler?
Yeah Shiro must have pooped on the carpet earlier.
He guzzled the salt shaker
Aren’t early ropes like that indicative of someone trying to stream snipe?
yeah, i was thinking that too..
There really needs to be a way to report players like this. It's probably the worst part of the game.
So so satisfying to watch big priest get recked
Missed lethal?
9:46 why....
He explained why; he was being greedy trying to draw firefly and get another 3/3 from Tarim
That's just making Big Priest's mutually un-enjoyable reputation less of a complaint and more of a reality.
@5:40 why didn’t you play two pyromancer stories make it a 1/5 instead of 1/3 chance of not winning that turn? I would think you want to have the best odds in an RNG game?

It would be a 1/4 because he would have had to trade in a recruit (Consecrate would have killed both recruits and both pyros). But I still get what you mean.
He wouldve won if he went face with true silver and picked eye for an eye at 6:50
So good seeing douchbag players getting owned. Nice one Brian!
A lesson to not rope Kibler, he'll embarrass you on stream and shame you on youtube after to thousands of people. Yikes. GG Brian!
" i know his last 2 cards are dragonfire and DK".
Burns dragonsfire and DK the very next turn...
AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH
haha his Anduin is in bottom of the deck. Karma is a bitch
Gimme a hearth my lord 💜
2 Fire Flies???? What a waste
Sub-100 views PogShampoo
Salt
Pompous Lesbian
I absolutely hate big priest. So annoying to play against.
че пацаны аниме
Play basic hero
meh
Ya done missed lethal when you played curator coulda gone 1/1-1/1-2/6-truesilver-consecration for 10
Nvm he didn’t have one in hand
he didnt have a consecrate my dude, he just had 8
Hey nice job on reading before posting
Hey nice job on counting and looking before posting.
Wow how original
Slow play plagues this game so badly, Blizz can fix that by implementing more appropriate time limits. The rope takes ages especially at early turns.
How can the game know when you have a tough turn or not? There are some turns where I feel the time limit is not enough to think about every option or potential answer from my opponents. Sure, they could maybe reduce the timer in the first couple of turns but there is no straight forward solution.

First?
Adriano Bdnf h jwnsd nope
michael labuschagne :(((((
What a clickbait it's Arthas.
Could have won 6 turns sooner (almost 7)
"oh ya I could have but decided not to"
no he clearly stated "I am not eye fo eyeing against an opponent that can heal himself"

Levi Hooper it's easy to judge someone when watching them.
I honestly don't think big decks are that good in this meta. I don't know why I see so many of them, they get rekt by both highlander and Jade. I don't even play a completed Highlander and destroy them
Max Ortof it's honestly just insanely fun to play. Just slamming down these giant creature on turn 7 or 8 as big priest is awesome feeling
spartan king I get that but if you wanna play a fun deck why play ranked?
Because once you lose enough in ranked you'll start to get matched up against decks/players you can actually beat, even if your deck isn't great. Your rank doesn't really matter unless you want to climb to legend.
Max Ortof may I introduce you to something called having fun while climbing rather than go full jade or highlander?
Why play a video game if you don't want to have fun?
I tend to get something to drink while searching in hearthstone since it takes almost no time and that tends to sometimes burn down the rope alot
He could've also had many other reasons why he burned the rope so its kinda strange to hear you talk about it as if its malicious intent
You can't really know that without knowing the person on the other side
the other guy obviously did this throughout the game! a lot of people do this so their opponent might concede
Clicking end turn at the end of the rope two turns in a row isn't coincidence. You click it before it burns out because it doesn't shorten your next turn. more than likely though it was intentional roping

What a click bait - there is no Unther :C
_Uther of the Ebon Blade_
There can't ever be Unther because Unther isn't a thing.
