This is a great layering fragrance. I was asked by a friend of mine what I was wearing one day and I told him “Monster” just joking around. I told him I sprayed Sauvage EDT on the skin and then sprayed The Dreamer on top of the Sauvage. His jaw dropped …he asked me to make him a bottle. I’m an amateur perfumer so he knew I had bottles around to do it. That dude has moved at least 100 bottles of “Monster” for me. The Sauvage EDT is outplayed by itself and like you said…The Dreamer is old …so if you have them both laying around…together they make a great beast that won’t smell like her ex boyfriend.
D&G definitely cloned this fragrance with "pour homme" smells almost identical..the dry down in the dreamer is impressive and gets me everytime i wear it..
Nice cool night a couple nights ago after coming back from the gym. Showered and hit one spray to the chest. Gucci Pour Homme II help me when I am staying home for the night.
Partly because of the box situation, I suspect that yours was the 2010s edition, which is probably a good thing since that's the only one that most of us will be able to try
I still wear this cologne because you are buying 4 colognes into one... it has a little bit of a mixture (layering jpg le male, Dolce & gabana pour homme and cigars cologne and sometimes boss bottled by hugo boss) There you go.... you'll have The dreamer by versace... I simply love this cologne. Can't live without it.... Down here in Brazil (midwest - goiania) when I wear it I just get compliments and people say "goddamn it" what magical cologne is that? I know it is a little bit different from the 96 batch. But still there! love it too much.
Shantanu Kaushish not sure of the version I have but man , from my first bottle of this in 2004 to the one I have gotten few months ago it’s simply amazing and intriguing funny enough it’s my most complimented smell
@@blood_sausage9620 it lasts all day for me, and it's not supposed to be a strong scent, I'd say people would only smell it if they were like a foot or two from wherever you applied it
Thanks for this very coherent review. Two other reviews of Versace's The Dreamer that I watched were utterly incoherent, all over the road; and I've unsubscribed from those idiots as they're...idiots.
This is a masterpiece. Most people want safe smelling fragrances that have a “hook” to them. Those types of scents are gimmicky and very middle of the road. They also are uninteresting and become boring very quickly. “The Dreamer” is just as he describes, a little tough in the opening but the dry down and finish is superb.

I like it. It's very unique. I love the frosted Medusa head. That should have been featured on all versace bottles

I have the original one,i dont know about the reformulaions but the original is a masterpiece
