Sorry a bit late. It took me three month to learn the Python bike. First rides have been 2 meters or less. After three months I could my first trip 7km (4.5milies) in 90 minutes and I was exhausted. A few month later I could do 45kph (30mph).
Georg, did you have previous experience riding recumbent? Learning recumbent was a quantum leap for me. I like the mechanical elegance of this machine, but question if it takes special skill to actually ride it.
