There is no reason for him to seek help because he is being enabled by his fans, his coach, his teammates, and so far, the NBA offices. And as long as people think it's funny that he could have broken a guy's neck, he'll keep on doing it. The league has shown they are comfortable with him hurting other players, but if he went into the crowd and did this to a team executive, then they'd get serious about it.
Maybe if Gobert didn’t have his arm around Klay’s neck. Maybe this would make sense. Everyone ignoring what Gobert did.
Just like last year everyone ignored the fact that Sabonis had Draymond by the ankle. He had 2 choices fall back and risk a sprain or a break or step on Sabonis. He tried to shake him free and Sabonis wouldn’t let go. But everyone making Draymond out to be the bad guy.
Warriors need to get it together and figure out these rotations. Change the offense if they have to. They have enough to win. They just need to gel. Let the game speak for itself regardless of if the NBA trying to handicap them

The NBA is a hot mess. Giannis got a 2nd tech and ejected for looking at his opponent after a dunk for too long (was under one second). At the same time, if you commit a criminal offense against another player causing bodily harm, you get suspended for a couple more games. It's all a farce. The NBA is just a PR company, they dont care about core values and setting examples for the youth. The commissioner knows that in two weeks time, if not 2 days, all of this is forgotten and people wont care. It's all just PR work.
Its 5 games, but it should've been 8. About 1/10 of the season. Bro literally has a history in general, a specific history with gobert, escalated the situation, choked and dragged a player across the court with his own coach begging him to stop. This was unacceptable.

When deciding about suspension and fairness between gobert and Draymond's contact, just ask yourself "was he de-escalating or escalating?" Gobert loosely pulling guys apart is totally different than a tight chokehold and dragging a guy back 20 feet. Draymond can be relied upon to make any situation worse upon entry

So yes he was trying to de-escalate. The altercation was going to die if draymond didn’t step in. He made the situation 10x worse.

I think that Steve Kerr got it all wrong by defending Draymond Green. GS encourages him to do this stuff to other teams because it helps them. The team and their fans always go "thats just draymond being draymond", meanwhile nobody else is taking cheap shots on Curry like Draymond is encouraged to do to other teams. Other teams need to start taking cheap shots at Curry if the NBA doesn't want to step in. I guarantee GS won't like it if every other team started forearming Curry off the ball and tripping him up while he's running, etc. GS has way more frailty to protect than everyone else so its on them if they want to play basketball that way.

The fact that anyone actually thinks Draymond is only getting 3 games for this is shocking to me. Putting someone in a chokehold and dragging them down the court is worse than throwing a punch, the game was part of the new in season tournament that the league is trying to get as many eyes on as possible, the NBA is positioning themselves for negotiating the next TV deal, and Draymond has an extensive history with stuff like this. I expect to see at least a 10 game suspension.
