Thanks for the upload and making of the nice video clip. This is my favourite track from Chapman-era of the UFO. Chapman's guitar solo here is brilliant. Let's not forget Paul Raymond's cool piano here. I think he also contributed to creating this amazing song, alongside with Phil Mogg's lyrics and vocals.
Paul is phenomenal, took lessons from him each week for 8 years. This solo is easily top 10 in my book. But I'm quite biased, if you are located in Central Florida then look him up.
ok ok...haven't listen to it for about one year now (WHY??) so last night came on my mind, on my utube, on my FB wall and tataaaaa...welcome to the "Stuck on ur Brain for a month" land!!! PERFECTION...GREAT UFO!!!!!!!!!! The solo takes my breath away !!!!
I agree that this is a great solo. Take this and listen to Try Me off of Lights Out, which was Schenker's best solo ever, and you have the 2 best solos from UFO's 2 best guitarists. All apologies to Vinnie Moore. Schenker and Chapman RULE!
Although they are not mentioned by name in this song, which is rather short lyrically, "Profession Of Violence" was inspired by the Kray Twins, who were notorious East End Gangsters in the 1960s
TOTUWORLD. You hit the nail on the head. It is a true masterpiece. As for the 13 morons I think they are the kind of people who go around pretendlng they like rock music because it looks cool. Then they return to their Boy Band Collection when the sun goes down and know one is looking.
He seems a really nice bloke. I haven't met him, but sent him a message (re. guitar-playing) on his old website, and he sent a very nice reply. Did you get him to play this number?

Its so beautiful
Such an evocative powerful song, stands up all these years later. Even the great M Schenker himself could not have played that solo any better imo.

Schenker had tons and tons of great solo that nothing compares to such as Born to Lose, Let it Roll, On with the Action, Try me etc etc...
