I did the same thing with my headset to use it for a mic for recording purposes until I realized I have a Yeti and I could just buy a USB 3.0 Hub to add more than the one port my Surface has.
Gecko should get the gecko crew to come to his house, and they go somewere and either play bowling or lazartag in real life. I think that would be cool, gecko becomes a vlog channel xD
