Brilliant advice thanks. Ive been told all sorts from ,when driving use bed mode after 10 minutes of having on crossed hammers for walk around checks to have it on POA! This video should be made standard on all CPC courses for new drivers or those wanting to refresh memory. It can be a complex matter using tachos correctly so videos like these are invaluable. Hope you will have some more soon.
had my first go at one of these today in the same make of analog tacho and by looking of it waggon. hadn't a clue about it (only used my digital card) and asked for help. Same again tomorrow but know now exactly what to do, cheers! 👍
Great video. I have a vehicle that has this tachograph but I no longer use it for work and it is now a camper. Can I set this somehow to rest so there is no speed restrictions on the vehicle?
I've never used my taco but it keps running my batteries flat during the winter. I killed a few once they froze! I tried t connect it to ignition positive rather than permanent positive but it kept going into limp mode. So i put it back the way it was so i could kill a few more batteries but it still goes into limp mode. Then i wondered if i just didn't know how to set it up or how it was setup before. I don't have any discs but now i can't use the van at all, i live on a mountain and it does not like limp mode! Help. Where did i go wrong and what do i need to do to get mobile again?
I had problems with this once On Mp2 Axor . It would draw a line if you try to eject the chart for lets say inspection. It would pretty much make in invalid after that. I was told that it isnt a fault but a design flaw in earl models. U cant Eject the chart while the engine is running, which is common for most traditional chart users to do. You need to stop park turn the engine off switch to inactive than eject, change the chart and initiate driving again.
is there any possibility to see the walkaround check on the shape? Because if I do for about 15min check there is no writing on my shape for doing the check. ?
i have a daf cf on a 06 with the same taco can you answer me a question, my taco today started doing black ink reading on the km/h on the taco paper like your is there a fault with it,can you get back to me asap please

Why does the time keep flashing on this tacho, the red t is constantly on the dash as well, even with the paper in, it's only after being calibrated
thanxs for the video. helped me allot
How do I remove it safely? I've an Iveco Daily that's now registered as a Camper, so longer required.

Too many rules. Just drive a van less stress.
