looking at eBay listings, the top chest there should be a style 526...don't see an exact base match but it could be an MC28 or MC28B

Kennedy boxes are very desirable with machinists . The v thingy is used on a machinist rule or square for finding the center of a shaft. Radius gauge are for finding the diameter of a hole. Starrett is the premium brand in machinist tools, I think you had some T nuts for mounting tools on a machine table. As an amateur machinist you did very well, I never find these honey holes, check E bay for values . You will be very happy. Good one, thanks

Yeah I have been checking values. I have a machinist buddy that will get most of it in exchange for machine work if I need it 😂😂

The Tumico(tubular micrometer company) item is a diemaker's square, used to check draft on stamping dies. They're in the online starrett catalog,
The angled thing with the kerf is the center finder attachment for a 6 inch combination square
The item labeled .2505 is a reamer.
The little things that look like open end wrenches look like micrometer adjusting tools.

That little pry bar as you called it, I believe is a brake adjusting tool … didn’t get to see it long enough

If you found any kind of Starrett tool or gauge in that tool box, you hit the jackpot! They're not cheap! They're the top of the line tools. Hang on to them!

The gentleman might have been a machinist at one point. The Black angle piece you came across was for an angle guage. It was supposed to have a steel ruler that would get tightened with a knurled nut and the end would have an L shaped end that would slide into the back of the ruler to tighten it up as you adjust it. I have my dad's. He was a machinist for H.K.Porter in Somerville Massachusetts. Where the forged all the cutting tools. I have over 40 bolt and tree limb cutters back to 1887. The plant closed in 1988.

Landsharks Garage. I love Kennedy machinist tool boxes. I inherited my oldest brother's signature tool box from about the late 50s to 1960s. It was loaded with tools. He may be have used them on his 1957 Ford Fairlane or his 1966 Ford Thunderbird. They are now in the hands of my racing brother-in-law. I also have my welding brother's Kennedy rolling tool box and it's mid box. The top tool box is a Craftsman look-alike Kennedy tool box which I found out was possibly made by Emerson tools. I can live with that cause I like Craftsman tool box's and tools too.

That is correct. It's a sheet metal crimper.

Always good when you find old tools made in USA or Canada. Don't know if Kennedy was a manufacturer but I'll bet the company made tool boxes for Sears. My father had Craftsman boxes just like these.
