- Scuba diving on the river, searching for Civil War relics, silver coins, bottles, and other treasures. The river water was very clear, and I had a great time crawling along the bottom with my metal detector.

When is your song on I Tunes ???????😊
Chigg That unknown object at 7:24 is the mechanism for an ice cream scoop
the mystery rifle casing is a .41 Swiss rimfire for the bolt action Vetterli rifles of the 1860's - 70's they had a double firing pin like the early Henry rifles
Hey, is this mask hermetic if you have mustache? I just place similar one in my basket on Ali but was scared it will leak because I have mustache
The mystery case is a 56-46 Spencer. The Spencer used two firing pins for reliability.
Nice to see the clean river and lots of small fish.
I appreciate all the work you do to share your adventures, Beau. Thanks.
I get so excited when I see a new Aquachigger video pop up in my feed :)
River hunts are the best.
Always love your yapping! But I love the underwater videos too. Time to watch!
"YAPPING" ......WTF!
You must be new here lol @@raynin

Yay!!! Hi Beau! You just made my day! 😊
Ahsome Opossum Adventuring AquaGhigger Bare Handed Treasure Hunter !!!; )
Enjoy watching TH-cam adventures with Chigg👍
Thanks for another interesting under water river adventure! Enjoyed watching.
As a kid in the 1970s, I remember my father used a cannon ball as a doorstop in the shed behind our house. He said when he was a child, his aunt and uncle had a farm near Resaca GA and were always uncovering such things on their property and considered it junk. That would have been in the late 1930's. I don't know whatever happened to that cannonball and I regret not paying better attention to my family history.
Oh no, no yapping🤣🤣Great video Chigg👍
Thanks for the river video Chigg, great old axe head and the pole, bit like punting across the river. Always good too see some mini balls, spent wrong as usual😅!!😎🐓🐓🐓🐓🇬🇧🇺🇦
That was good Chigg, enjoyed watching. I remember a creek in central Pennsylvania being ice cold in the middle of summer. In fact my brother caught pneumonia rinsing his hair out under a super cold well water pump.
Very old rimfire shell for sure! Possibly .41 caliber “Swiss” rimfire cartridge. Should be a "U" on on the base if it is ...
I believe you are correct..that was my first thought
Certainly looks like it .
That's 3 who agree. Very unusual find.
I think so. Can’t think of anything else it could be.
I think you’re right. Could also have an H stamp if made by Winchester.
Always ready to see a Beaver.
"BEAVER BUTT" Beau.
Awe...Minnow's!!! So many! Cool!
I learn a lot from your "yapping," but this was fun, too.
Great Video...wow that is some clear water
Good to see u
Im number 1 aquachigger subber. Why not explore underwater at night with flounder lights. Could be a game changer.
I'll do that. Sounds like fun.
@@aquachigger have you thought about getting a Blu3 Nomad mini hookah i use mine for 3 hours nonstop diving its awsome for metaldetecting
I've use them before, they are a good tool.
thats when the critters come out
@@aquachigger i found enough gold in 4-5 dives that the system payed for itselfe
Beau Time!
I feel there’s so many untouched areas in New York State. So many old farms & small towns
Always love the bullets!
I always hold my breath 😂🤠👍🏻
I like the bottles
Man i miss the longer videos chigg!
Awesome! A SCUBA vid!
Nope! Ole chigg never gets skunked .....there's always treasures to be found. Thanks chigg!!
chigg is growing a beard could this be the beginning of the return of the wild chigg look ???
19th like, always love your awesome videos, chigg
That mystery object right before you found the anchor is a throttle lever off an old boat. Looks like a mid 50s Evinrude to be specific. My Grandfather used to run a boat repair shop back in the 60s and 70s. I helped him service dozens of those old shift boxes back in the day. I recognized it immediately.
Awesome video.
Chigg is the “River Gangster”, digging with no gloves.
Dude! You and NORA SVET should do a joint video adventure!
"Okay...Hold your breath!"
It's still fun watching and hunting along with you..thanks Chigg
Some good finds!
I love exploring!
A nice quiet video😂
You should make a video of restoring the ax head!
Good evening from Southeast South Dakota
Chigg is the best!🤿
Hi Beau, or if you prefer Chigg, Let me know I just want to be correct. Anyway, I didn’t even know you were still on TH-cam. I used to watch your channel all the time, and I still absolutely love it! I’ve learned alot from you. Last time I watched one of your videos was well over perhaps two years ago, And I don’t know where I got the idea that you had retired, but somehow thats what I had thought, But then, one of your videos popped into my feed here, and it was Made only a few days ago so, I was excited to see you still on TH-cam. In any case, glad to see you’re still providing videos. Good Hunting, Be safe my friend, and thank you again, As I’m looking forward to seeing your videos once again.
Thanks. Yep, never left. 3 to 5 videos a week for over a decade.
👍😊
2:36 BABY FISH 🐟 😆 🤣. Dono why i found that so funny. Awesome video as always chigg
I always thought that the "Minie balls" were just "mini balls" and not "Minie" named after the inventor - so I did learn something when you dont yap around :-)
So did I!!😎🐓🐓🐓🐓🇬🇧🇺🇦
Here in Ostrobothnia Finland and upper north findings could be WW2 relics and munition..
Mostly German, but sometimes Russian..
That sounds like fun.
@@aquachigger Germans dumped or blew up their depots.. In our town goes a part of heeresfeldbahn, built mostly by POWs and other prisoners. It's little over 100 miles long. Only remains are blown depots and bridges.
That unknown rifle case could be for a .41 cal Swiss vetterli rifle. They had a double pronged firing pin. I've read that they were surplused in the '20s.
Where is the “Hooooold you breeeaaath”?
I’ve lived in the Pacific Northwest for 43 years now… coolest August ever.
You look like you’re ready for a hot toddy.
Did yoU forget, :HOLD YER BREATH"?
I know the 1865 US Springfield Trap door first Allin Conversion was a rim fire 5070 caliber
Come on down to East Texas and we can hunt Native American relics!
I'll probably be down that way in October.
Then head over to NW Louisiana/SW Arkansas. I’ve got some honey holes around here for native artifacts and for metal detecting. Not too far from E Texas
You should have done a voice over again. Its cool to hear you explain whate we are looking at.
CHIGG - 11:20. Now, let's be clear, I do love the ladies - but right then, the salt and pepper swept back with river water, the beard - you are a smart looking gentleman! I like the cut of your jib! Sean Connery beard with a Baldwin Haircut. Us men don't get many compliments in our lives, so I hope you read this and smile. POSIDEN! That's who you look like - you need a Trident! - Chigg - the water thing ties in!
I think that cartridge case was for a .41 Swiss Vetterli.
Great video Beau, nice to have clear water. Will you be at the RCM Rally UK this weekend?
Nah, I didn't get invited by Garrett. Tell them you miss me! ...lol.
@@aquachigger - I will, was hoping to see you again. Maybe next time 👍
Missing your gloves today Mr. Risky Chigg!
The rimfire hull looks loke a Swiss 41 caliber for the Swiss Vetterli rifle 10.4x38mmR. It has a double firing pin striker.
My favorite video in a while for some reason...
😊
Nice hunt! I've been wanting to do that but haven't been able to.
Really enjoyed the video Chiggster !! Kinda miss the Yappin too! BTW where's your gloves bro !! Thamks again from Kevin in France and Florida
.41 Swiss rimfire with dual firing pin strike.
You need to get a scuba backpack without that big buoyancy compensator, that you don’t need in a shallow river. I’d love to dive a Civil War battle area!
there was a 48 caliber necked rimfire rifle cartridge made during the civil war. The possible reason for 2 firing pin strikes is that if a rimfire fails to fire, we would turn the cartridge in the chamber and try again. It least that what we do nowadays with 17 and 22 calibers.
i was at a underwater convention in fla back in 1977 went to the cafeteria located in the fla state college for a break and turned around right next to me was jacques cousteau and mike love of the beach boys i tried to say something but nothing came out .
Prefer the old underwater hunts when it wasnt just iron and lead
Me too!
I was down there with you....I didn't use a scuba tank.....nice finds
Thanks .
Cartridge is a .41 Swiss
I was watching the Dirty Dozen.
Far more entertaining for sure.
@@aquachiggerNot at all! I've seen it a dozen times! You're the best!
Geez chig I wouldn’t go in the water you may get what I got! Wet.
Maybe ". 41 Swiss rimfire"??
Awesome 🇺🇲
12:40 tried some google fu for that rimfire case. best i could come up with was a .41 swiss veterli. dont know if thats what it is. but it does look to be an early bottleneck cartridge.
and day getting booollets is a good day.
It's a 56-46 Spencer. Too big for the .41 and it's got two firing pin strikes.
The cartridge looks like a 56. X .46 Spencer rimfire
I concur. I came here to say that, but you beat me to it. Twin firing pin strikes and the size compared to the two minie balls and 30-06 case seals it.
Thank you @@RyeOnHam! When it first came up I thought .56 Spencer, until I saw that it was necked down.
Still an excellent reminder of our early cased rimfires!
I'm wondering about all of the chain. Is it possible there was a ferry that could have used it at the crossing?
Chigg do you ever get tested for lead in your blood? You sure do handle a lot of it. I had a shooting teacher who got lead poisoning from reloading brass. Just thought I would ask. I want you to be around a long time to keep up the amazing videos!
Hey Chigg, what's up with misspelling 'aluminum'?? You're not on River Hunters at the moment! 😅
Chig where is your gloves don't get cut
The rimfire brass is old, not sure what it is but old...
Looks like you have the latest GoPro 12 model there mounted on your mask?
I have the "Creator Edition" model 12...still trying to figure ot out!
Chigg, could that shell casing be from a .56-46 Spencer? I'm thinking so. Check it out. Al
sks cartridge
Am i first?
By one second! Thanks for watching!
@@aquachigger your welcome. Been watching for years and years. No need to thank, ive honestly learned a lot from you. An am a garrette guy because of you.
What underwater mic do you use Chigg?
does a lee enfield round fit in the top of tha cartridge?
Not wareing gloves here.😮
Forgot them in the truck.
@@aquachigger just received my AT MAX and other items needed. With tha code. Thanks chigg. Look foward to tha festival comeing up.
Thank you. I wish you luck!
Not in this video, but I often hear detectorists mentioning oyster shells. Will someone please tell me the significance of oyster shells? Thanks in advance.
Finding oyster shells is a prime indicator of a nearby old homestead.
How can I get a chiggs army hat?
Have you thought of getting certified in using a full face mask? Then you could talk while underwater
I haven't. I'll look into that. Thanks
That's a 41 swiss.
Don't think that was just a iron chain, looked it was connected to a buried trunk ?

Ok Chig, you preach not to hunt without gloves on because of the chance of cutting yourself. How come no gloves when diving?
Why do your hands appear chalk white?
No gloves?
Gloves? I don't need no stinking gloves.
